Three people, would ultimately lose their lives, while those who survived were left carrying the weight of horrifying secrets. As for nearly two decades, Shelly maintained her control through fear and violence, until her own daughters finally helped expose the disturbing truth about what had happened inside their family home.

Halloween Week: The Witchcraft Murder of Charles Walton
In the quiet English village of Lower Quinton, ancient tales of witchcraft, curses, and phantom black dogs had haunted the surrounding countryside for generations. But on Valentine's Day in 1945, those dark legends took on a terrifying new significance when 74 year old Charles Walton was discovered brutally murdered on the slopes of Meon Hill, his throat slashed and his body pinned to the earth with a pitchfork.
As Scotland Yard descended upon the village, whispers began to spread that Charles had been accused of practising witchcraft and that his death bore the markings of an ancient pagan ritual. What followed was one of Britain's most disturbing unsolved mysteries, a murder that would become forever known as the Witchcraft Murder of Charles Walton.

Halloween Week: The Legend of the Mackenzie Poltergeist
In the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland, lies Greyfriars Kirkyard, a centuries old cemetery with a history of religious persecution, imprisonment, torture, and death. But it's also become notorious for something far more mysterious, with hundreds of visitors reporting violent encounters with an unseen presence that allegedly leaves behind scratches, bruises, and even strangulation marks.
Known as the Mackenzie Poltergeist, the entity is believed by some to be the restless spirit of a seventeenth century lawyer whose cruelty earned him the nickname Bloody Mackenzie.
