It’s the finale of Reel Talk and Mike Salk sits down with Captains that started it all - Dave Marciano and Dave Carraro. The duo unpack their wildest behind-the-scenes moments - from Marciano’s frantic late-night call to the legendary “solo Ralph” episode that proved not everyone is brave enough to be his deckhand. They revisit the $50,000 offer that showed their rivalry had its limits, the losses that hit hardest off the water, and the fatherly wisdom that stuck with them long after the cameras stopped rolling. With a mix of stories - equal parts reflection and roast - it’s a perfect sendoff to Season 1.

109: Pirate Problems
In this week’s episode of Reel Talk, host Mike Salk is joined by Captains Dave Carraro and Dave Marciano for a brutally honest look at friendship, rivalry, and boat drama. From Paul hopping to another crew overnight to tackle-box snooping and “googan” accusations, the two revisit the moments that nearly pushed them overboard. They break down why some deckhands rise, some tap out, and why three guys on one boat is the perfect recipe for a floating reality show. How have they survived this long you ask? Respect, repetition, and the shared understanding that every fisherman is one bad day away from becoming the episode’s villain.

108: Captain VS Mate Grudge Match
In this week’s episode, host Mike Salk sits down again with Dot Com and Captain Paul Hebert as they reflect on how far they’ve come since their infamous “mutiny.” What could’ve been a lasting grudge instead turned into a stronger friendship. They look back on how Paul’s energy helped shape the cast of Wicked Tuna, how reality TV has changed their lives for the better (and the worse), and why Dave used to refer to the show as “Desperate Housewives with fishing rods.” From fishing side-by-side to vacationing together on cruise ships, the two share how their bond has endured rivalries, rumors, and the roughest of seas.
