Aflevering 12 - We gaan zingen!
<p>Net op tijd voor de laatste aflevering van Wij zijn Nico heeft het RIVM op 30 juni eindelijk een advies uitgegeven voor koorzang. Zingen kan en mag weer! Samen met dirigent Maria Delver en een aantal zangers van de Participatiekoren zijn we, gewapend met meetlint en ontsmettingsmiddelen, meteen op zoek gegaan naar een geschikte locatie om veilig te kunnen zingen. </p>

Aflevering 11 - Praat met ons
<p>Tijdens de coronacrisis zijn de ouderen steevast als de kwetsbaarste groep neergezet. De maatregelen rond de lock down hebben hen dan ook het hardst getroffen, maar de aandacht ging vooral uit naar de gevolgen voor jongere generaties. Premier Mark Rutte riep hen zelfs op om met hem in gesprek te gaan over de crisis. Aan de ouderen thuis en in verpleeghuizen werd niets gevraagd. Zij werden gestigmatiseerd tot groot maatschappelijk risico die vooral achter gesloten deuren beschermd moesten worden. De Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing deed onderzoek naar hoe ouderen dit hebben ervaren. </p>

Aflevering 10 - Corrie heeft haar vrijheid terug!
<p>Na drie maanden in haar kamer te moeten blijven, heeft Corrie nu haar vrijheid weer terug. Helaas geldt dat nog niet voor alle bewoners van de verpleeghuizen. Tijdens de laatste persconferentie over de coronacrisis spoorde minister Hugo de Jonge de verpleeghuizen aan haast te maken maken. Doen ze dat niet, dan is het aan de Inspectie voor de gezondheidszorg om een stok achter de deur te zetten. Is dat terecht? Directeur van Alzheimer Nederland, Gerjoke Wilmink, vindt van wel en licht toe waarom. Ook vraagt zij aandacht voor mensen met dementie en hun mantelzorgers thuis. Want al horen we daar relatief weinig over, ook daar is het leed nog niet geleden en roept zij op tot burgerzin. </p>
