   Coastal Autumn Soundscapes: Active Field Recording at Hällögern

   In the latter half of September 2025, I travelled north to the tiny island of Hällögern, in the northern part of Sweden.    Along the coast of Västerbotten, each autumn, a vast migration of birds takes place each year.
