On this episode I recount my visit to the Oregon State Mental Hospital museum of Mental Health in Salem, Oregon. This podcast goes over the history of mental healthcare at this “insane asylum”.
I include my own history with this hospital (my great grandfather had electroshock therapy here) and also lead into what caregivers should know from a patients perspective.
