Wilderness to Wisdom is for the one who loves God but knows there's more than what religion has handed them. Step by step, Chastity Dawn walks alongside listeners through what it actually looks like to follow Christ outside the bounds of organized religion — receiving the Holy Spirit, hearing God's voice, walking in obedience, recognizing the enemy, and unplugging from the world's programming. No performance. No churchy script. Just Scripture-anchored perspective from someone walking the narrow path with you, not ahead of you.

Scripture is clear that those who labor in teaching are to be supported. The question isn’t whether support is biblical. It is. The question is what happened between what Scripture describes and what we see today.
Paul had that right and chose not to use it. He worked. He received gifts when they came freely. Giving was decided in the heart, not pulled from people by emotional appeals or signed commitments. Provision moved through a body that knew each other. Somewhere between then and now, a system was built that guarantees a paycheck, raises funds for buildings, and adds a return on giving that has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit.
Scripture already warned about shepherds who feed themselves, priests who teach for a price, and hired hands who run when the wolf comes because the sheep aren’t theirs. Support for those who labor is biblical. A system that turns ministry into a way to generate income or compel people to give is not. This episode is a look at the contrast, with the Word as the measure.

What Leadership Looked Like in the Bible
We all know the titles we hear in churches. Pastor, elder, deacon, bishop. They arrange people into a structure where some are set above others. When we look at what Scripture actually shows, that structure isn’t there.
Elder, overseer, shepherd, and pastor are one role, and Christ is over it. The word “pastor” means shepherd, and it’s used as a title for a person one time in the entire New Testament. No letter is addressed to a pastor. What we have now was built after the apostles, by men still revered as “church fathers.”
The qualifications Scripture gives are almost entirely about character. Above reproach, gentle, self-controlled, not a lover of money. The one ability named is being able to teach. There’s no formal education requirement, degree, certificate, or ceremony that sets anyone above the rest.
In this episode, we walk through what qualified someone to lead, what these roles were, what Jesus said about titles in Matthew 23, and what this means for followers of Christ who have the Word and the Holy Spirit.

The Tithe Was Never Money
In this episode, we look at what the tithe was and who received it. We examine the priesthood the tithe belonged to and why Scripture says it has changed. We also address the Scriptures used most often to enforce tithing, including Malachi 3, Matthew 23, and Luke 6:38.
The Levitical priesthood the tithe supported no longer exists in the same way. Hebrews 7:12 says that when the priesthood changes, the law changes with it, and Scripture calls all believers a royal priesthood. The New Testament names no percentage. It describes giving decided in the heart, free of pressure, and aimed at real need.
The people the tithe was meant to help have become the people funding the institution.
This is not an episode against generosity. Scripture describes believers who gave in ways that go far beyond a percentage. It is about examining an obligation that was never commanded for us.
