Tricia Johnson, Polo REO Tate, Mary Gajda, and Shelley Davis Boyd are back, and life has given us all plenty to talk about. We have big wins to celebrate, new chapters to navigate, and a few moments when we’ve wondered whether we could grow without quite so much discomfort.

Donna Murray-Brown has the kind of résumé that makes you sit up a little straighter. She has led across financial services, nonprofits, and philanthropy, often as the first woman or first Black woman in the room. Yet even with all that experience, she is refreshingly honest about questioning whether she is enough.

Donna shares why she stopped treating leadership like a never-ending performance, how she learned to give from her overflow instead of draining the whole cup, and why women need more from one another than a cheerful “I’ve got you, girl.”
