Shadow Work

Even on the longest day of the year, you still cast a shadow.

This episode, we're getting into shadow work — what it actually means, where the idea comes from, and whether it genuinely transforms us or just gives us prettier language for something we used to call trauma.

We go back to Carl Jung's real theory — the persona, the shadow, and his strange, brilliant idea that whatever we never make conscious doesn't disappear. It just plays out anyway, as if it were fate.

We talk projection, repeating patterns, and the surprising truth that your shadow doesn't only hold your worst traits — sometimes it's hiding your power, too.

And we ask the honest question: do we actually need to do this work, or is it optional?

No neat answers. Just two women, talking honestly, on the brightest day of the year.

Please share, like and follow if you too, are a little bit woo!

Kerry - @thisliberatinglife

Beccy - @wild.ways.woman

Bonus Episode - Let's answer your questions.

Hello and welcome back to Wildly Liberating.

If you're new here — hi, we're so glad you found us. And if you've been with us for a while, you'll know that we like to go to some interesting places.

Today we are going to all of them.

This episode started as a simple idea — let's answer your questions. And you, being the wonderfully curious, beautifully weird humans that you are, did not disappoint. Karma. Past lives. Astrology. Joy. The big stuff, the strange stuff, the stuff you maybe wouldn't bring up at a dinner party but absolutely would bring up here.

Kerry and I have answered every single one honestly, in our own way, which means you'll get two different perspectives, two different lived experiences, and probably the occasional moment where we surprise even ourselves.

There are no right answers in this episode. There is no script. Just two women sitting with the questions that matter — the ones that make you wonder, that make you look at your life a little sideways, that remind you the world is stranger and more magical than we're usually given permission to believe.

So settle in. This one's a good one.

Kerry - @wildlyliberating

Beccy - wild.ways.woman

All Kerrys details of her Embodied Astrology are on the links in her bio.
