The Gospel of Jesus Christ is important. It’s so important that I have decided to share it with my whole life. This podcast is a look into my life as I proclaim the Gospel through my personal passions and call others to do the same. Will you preach the Gospel?
In this episode of "Will He Preach?", host Jermaine Bean sits down on vacation with his friend Colby Dill, a young preacher. They talk about how the Holy Spirit takes over a sermon, how to share the gospel boldly, and how "iron sharpens iron" in close friendships. Colby then describes the struggles of writing and delivering his sermon: writer's block, fitting Bible-institute methods to his own style, getting feedback from a mentor, and preaching in front of his father-in-law. They close with the "meat and bones" and "full course meal" ideas about growing as a Christian, then the rewards of obedience, including a young congregant's drawing of the sermon, and Colby's final reminder to give glory to God and accept the free gift of grace.

A morning walk with Brittany (resting)
Jermaine Bean and Brittany discuss why rest and time away are essential for ministry families, not signs of selfishness. They share how vacations, Sabbath rhythms, and intentional time together can protect marriages, strengthen family bonds, and help prevent burnout. Their conversation offers pastors, ministry leaders, and anyone carrying constant responsibility a reminder to make space for rest and the people who matter most.
