<p>In deze laatste aflevering kijken we wat het boek ons heeft gebracht. Wat is het mooie aan de prikkelende visie van Thomas Jay Oord. Een God van niet dwingende liefde die er niets aan kan doen dat er zoveel dingen op deze kleine planeet niet goed gaan. Die samen met ons en met alles wat leeft er alles aan doet om te zorgen dat het 'goed' komt. Waar wringt het en liggen onze vragen. Van harte uitgenodigd dit laatste gesprek mee te beleven . We hopen ergens in augustus een gesprek te hebben met Rik en David, min of meer de vertegenwoordigers van dit gedachtengoed in Nederland. Zij hebben er ook voor gezorgd dat het boek in het Nederlands is uitgegeven. </p>

<p>Ga er maar aan staan. Een regelrechte paradox. Eigenlijk ook het onderwerp van het boek van Thomas Jay Oord. We hebben er toch onze mentale tanden maar ingezet. We zijn weer benieuwd of je er wat mee kunt.</p><p><br></p>

<p>Het slothoofdstuk van het boek van Oord. We zijn als schepselen partners van God. Dat klinkt nog redelijk onschuldig. Maar Oord gaat verder: God heeft ons en anderen nodig om de liefde te laten winnen. Schepselen — jij en ik en al die anderen — spelen een noodzakelijke rol in Gods doelen om de schepping te herstellen en ons allemaal te helpen floreren. Zelfs God kan de wereld niet eigenhandig redden. Onze levens doen ertoe, hebben wezenlijke betekenis. Gods liefde geeft nooit op! Boeiende, verstrekkende gedachten. Peter en Wim nemen je mee in het gedachtegoed van Oord en reflecteren er uitgebreid op.</p>
