S2 - EPS 10: Why we don’t change
Why do we talk about change so much but rarely do whats required? Why is it such a big topic for so many people? I talk to a lot of people about their goals. Deeper than just writing it down. Really stripping it back. But once its stripped back it shocks a lot of people just how much work is involved and how much sacrifice is required. And Sacrifice requires change. It requires you either growing into a new more fulfilling habit that drives you towards what you need instead of what you want. Or just plain and simple means you break an existing habit. Like drinking. Smoking. Bad eating. Drug use etc. So why is it then that people take that initial step to set goals but when they strip them back and get the slap in the face but so few push on. Or the ones that do don’t pursue with the course towards what is ultimately good for them? I cover all this in Episode 10. Hope you enjoy it. Peace.

S2: EP9 - Knowing your why
Before you set out on any endeavour, especially business related please have a clear understanding of your why. Don’t confuse achievement and success. They aren’t the same. Achievement is measurable, it’s tangible, it’s mile stones and a tick list. Success is how you feel. It’s fulfilment and it’s directly related to your why. Without a clear understanding of your why you’re in danger of getting caught up in the what and the how of your business. But that doesn’t inspire people. It’s important you know it from the outset but even more important to not lose sight of it as you grow. Especially as you become more successful. Trust me I speak from personal experience here. Having a strong mindset isn’t about never feeling weak, sad or vulnerable, we aren’t robots. It’s about spotting when you perhaps need to double down on your efforts to get yourself back on track.
