Sapientia: Der rechte Weg
Unter den chinesischen Weisen haben Laudse und Kongfudse auch in Europa Bekanntheit erlangt. Ihre Anschauungen sind sehr unterschiedlich: Kongfudses Ideal ist der Edle, der die Tugenden Menschlichkeit, Bildung, Anstand und Rechtschaffenheit verkörpert und diese zum Wohl der Gesellschaft einsetzt. Für Laudse sind Tugenden der Ersatz für den Verlust des Dao, des rechten Weges, und des De, der Wirkungskraft. Die 81 Verse des Dao-De-Ching vermitteln das Bild eines Weisen, der durch bewusstes Nicht-Handeln die Welt gestaltet. Sapientia: Der weise Richter
Wie verhält man sich, wenn Gesetze oder Richter ungerecht sind? Den Optimismus des Sokrates, dass sich das Gute behaupten wird, teilen wir heute nicht mehr. Schwierige Situationen löst man nicht mit Paragraphen, sondern mit salomonischer Weisheit. Drei Beispiele aus der Literatur dienen uns zur Illustration. Gerechte Urteile verlangen Menschenkenntnis. Statt Lösungen erster Art: "mehr desselben", mehr Gesetze und Urteile, findet der Weise Lösungen zweiter Art, die unsere herkömmlichen Grenzen überschreiten.
