Fachhochschulen im Spannungsfeld von Wissenschaft und Praxis: Von der Notwendigkeit eines wissenschaftstheoretischen Diskurses
<p>Fachhochschulen betonen ihren Praxisbezug. Raubt ihnen das die Wissenschaft? Für die Fachhochschul-Informatik findet man so einige Belege, die nahelegen, dass dem so ist. Aber was ist der Grund dafür? Wenn man genauer hinschaut, stellt man fest, dass das Problem tiefer liegt. Ich erläutere, was Wissenschaftstheorie an Klärung bringen kann. Und ich verargumentiere, dass eine Wissenschaftsdidaktik einen wertvollen Beitrag liefern könnte, den Wissenschaftsbezug wieder deutlicher herzustellen.</p> <p>Dieser Beitrag war geplant als Vortrag zur Tagung der Gesellschaft für Hochschulforschung (GfHf), die vom 25.-27. März 2020 in Hamburg stattfinden sollte. Die Tagung findet nun virtuell und asynchon statt, siehe https://www.gfhf2020.de/. Ich habe mich als Ersatz für das Podcastformat entschieden. Meine Gesprächspartnerin Antje Garrels-Nikisch hat sich verschiedenen Wissenschaftsdisziplinen zugewendet und sie studiert: Psychologie, Umwelttechnik und -management, Kultur- und Religionswissenschaft. Auf ihrem Weg spielen Autoethnographie, Wissenschaftskultur und evolutionäre Erkenntnistheorie -- die Voraussetzung, dass das menschliche Erkenntnisinstrumentarium sich evolutionär mit konkreten Herausforderungen entwickelte -- eine wichtige Rolle.
