The bully is down but not out. Trump is suffering a narcissistic injury, surrounded by the worst people he’s ever had around him, and cornered authoritarians in that position have a history of doing unpredictable and dangerous things. Democrats can still lose in 2027 if they don’t play the next two years right.

Six days out from the midterms, Marcus and Madeline are joined by former Republican Congressman Denver Riggleman — now one of the sharpest voices in the country on radicalization, disinformation, and the inner workings of MAGA — and the conversation does not stay on script.
