Yup that’s the name. I’m a complex creature. Well, not really, but if you dance around in this little ol’head of mine you might think so at times. It’s just that I have passion for a lot of things. By day, I’m a real estate investor, working hard to break a generational curse of financial instability while building a wealth legacy. I also enjoy coaching others to do the same, as that is my call to service, amongst other things. Thanks to my daddy, I’m naturally gifted with my hands so I love to busy myself with DIY projects. With 23 years of broadcast radio experience, it’s inherent for me stay abreast of the latest news, entertainment, lifestyle and politics. Not to mention, I'm a wife, mother, sister, auntie, and friend. Tis' The Season
<p>Tis' the season to be jolly right? While the holiday season is meant for us to be, that's not the case for some of us. We can all agree, this has been a TOUGH season! And I'm not talking weather. I mean the past two to three years. Many of us are barely able to reconcile the issues in our own lives, but then have to deal with all the stuff going on in the world. IT'S A LOT! The issue of mental health seems like an everyday conversation anymore. Suicide is at all-time, senseless violence has overtaken the news cycle, political unrest...I mean Jesus...it's just too much! So how are dealing, coping, and able to keep your sanity through it all? Let's talk about it!</p>

It Takes A Village
<p>Once upon a time, we depended on the village to raise our kids. Neighbors would watch over one another's kids, see them in the street doing wrong and correct them, then say "now go tell your mama", which would probably lead to another scolding, or worse, a beating! Tuh, nowadays?!.... I'm not sure we still take that approach and I'll explain my reasons why. Today's conversation was inspired by a true story.
