Witness The Fitmess- Models of Health and Toxic Positivity

For our first podcast we are kicking things off by discussing the Biopsycosocial Model of health (BPS). It sounds complex and it IS but I promise we break it down in a way that makes sense. We chose this topic first as the BPS model is going to come up time and time again when looking at other elements of exercise and movement so it seemed a good place to start by explaining what the flip it actually is.

Each week we also have a ‘fitshit of the week’ which is an excuse for us to get a bit mad about something happening within our industry. Our first topic is the concept of ‘toxic positivity’ on social media which has really been grinding Sophie’s gears.

To ask us a question or leave a suggestion of any topics you'd like us to cover next follow us on @witnessthefitmess on instagram and slide confidently into our DMs.

Thank you so much for listening!
