Sinds 2020 is Witte Kruis Evenementenzorg Medical Partner van Circuit Zandvoort en Medical Supplier van de Knac Nederlandse Autosport Federatie (KNAF). In deze podcast een interview met Björn Vos, Extrication teamleider op Circuit Zandvoort namens Witte Kruis Evenementenzorg. De 39-jarige Nederlander is niet alleen bij alle evenementen op Circuit Zandvoort betrokken, maar is over de hele wereld actief. Björn is werkzaam als specialistisch hulpverlener (Extrication team) in o.a de Formule 1, Formule E, de 24h van Le Mans en diverse grote autoraces over de gehele wereld. Vos heeft een passie voor zijn werk als ambulancechauffeur en de autosport en weet beide zaken ook nog eens perfect te combineren door de medische wereld en de autosport samen te brengen. Hij is daarnaast ook instructeur voor de KNAF en geeft zijn kennis op deze manier ook door aan andere officials en hulpverleners binnen de autosport. Vos:,,Medisch personeel is vaak niet op de hoogte van specifieke autosportzaken zoals een vijfpuntsgordel of een Head and Neck Support Systeem (H.A.N.S.) wat bedoeld is om bij een crash de krachten die hoofd en nek van de coureur te verwerken krijgen te beperken. Door het volgen van de specialistische training zijn de hulpverleners toegerust om alert te handelen op de verschillende circuits” Hulpverlening op evenementen en festivalsWitte Kruis Evenementenzorg voorziet bezoekers en medewerkers van evenementen van adequate Eerste Hulp en medische zorg. Met ruim 35 jaar ervaring in de zorg staat de grootste ambulancedienst van Nederland garant voor hoogwaardige kwaliteit van acute hulpverlening. Het team van gekwalificeerde professionals bestaat uit ambulancemedewerkers en artsen in actieve dienst.
