في خمسينيات وستينيات القرن الماضي، كان المشهد الدولي موسوما بصراعات متعددة .. أغلبها يحيل على الحرب الباردة .. كانت هوية المخابرات الأمريكية قد اكتملت .. ولعل القائمين عليها وجدوا في المواجهة بين الغرب والشرق ما يبرر كثيرا من المخططات والعمليات ..على مدى ثمانية أعوام ، حتى العام الأول من ولاية الرئيس ( جون فيتزجيرالد كينيدي ) كان على رأس ال(سي آي إي ) واحد من أقدم وجوه الإستخبارات الأمريكية .. إسمه(آلن دولاس) .

أماراليس فوكس .. في أحضان ال سي آي إي
قبل أن تبلغ العشرين، كانت (أماراليس فوكس) مرشحة لتكون من بين عملاء المخابرات المركزية الأمريكية ..لعل الذين كان موكولا إليهم استقطاب ُ عملاء من بين الشباب رصدوا لدى تلك الشابة ما يؤهلها للإنضمام إلى الCIA .. كانت ابنة رجل يعمل في الاقتصاد وامرأة بريطانية عملت في التمثيل .. ولكن حوادث أثرت فيها عميقا جعلتها توجد حيث كانت يوم وافقت على الإلتحاق بالمخابرات المركزية الأمريكية.
