郭俊辰：世界上发芽最快的植物
梭梭树是一种小乔木，高度一般在1.5米左右，最高可达到4米甚至10米，拥有十分强悍的耐热抗寒能力，能在地表温度上至80度下至零下40度的超恶劣环境中正常生长。梭梭树是最适宜生活在沙漠中的植物之一，顽强的生命力让它甚至可以轻松地适应盐碱地，在降水量只有几十毫米而蒸发量高达3000毫米的极端干旱天气中迅速生长。 梭梭树拥有一个十分神奇的技能，就是只要有一滴水，它的种子就能在三小时之内生根发芽，是全世界发芽最快的植物。它发达的根系可以延伸到地下超过50厘米的深度，强大的抓地力能很好的帮助沙漠固定土壤，高高的个子又能挡住飞扬的风沙，是不折不扣的沙漠卫士。 随着城市的发展，工业及农业的不合理开发，造成了不断扩张的土地沙漠化。植物被吞噬，沙漠寸草不生，流沙无法固定，就会造成周边城市严重的沙尘暴。 2019年是我国开展治理沙漠60周年，在这60年的时间里，中国不断地探索各种治理沙漠的有效方法，其中梭梭树就是伟大的功臣之一。 不知道大家小时候有没有听过一首歌，歌里有一句歌词是这么唱的：“一人栽下一棵苗，沙漠也能披绿荫”。让我们都参与到沙漠植树造林的公益活动中来，和梭梭树一起把沙漠变成绿洲吧。

黄湘丽：恋爱的犀牛
犀牛是一种在中国历史上具有传奇色彩的动物。早在春秋战国时代，犀牛就已经成为神兽，与麒麟和天禄齐名，在《山海经》中也曾多处被提及。 在现代生物学界，犀牛属于哺乳纲犀科，因为每只脚上都长有三根脚趾，所以犀牛是世界上最大的奇蹄目动物。犀牛腿短、体肥笨拙，是体型仅次于大象的陆生动物。 现代犀牛基本上分布于亚洲南部、东南亚和非洲撒哈拉以南地区。让人遗憾的是，中国也曾经是犀牛分部最广的国家之一，但由于历史原因，中国境内的最后一只犀牛已于1922年被猎杀身亡。 犀牛的脾气温和，平常胆小不会伤人，但一旦他们遭遇危险或陷入困境，也会奋力发起攻击，所以古代常用犀牛皮做战甲，犀牛角药用的神奇功效更是被夸大其词成为传说，造成了犀牛种群被过度猎杀以致濒临灭绝。 现在，除了白犀牛之外的所有犀牛品种都已被列为濒危物种。早在1993年，国际上已经禁止了一切关于犀牛角的贸易活动，但是，一直到2019年，各国海关依然查获了多批犀牛角走私案件。大量野生犀牛被偷猎者残忍地割掉牛角，然后由于失血过多和伤口感染而在痛苦中慢慢死去。 自然保护者与偷猎者的抗衡不亚于一场战争，但是站在普通人的角度，我们应该用自己坚决的态度抵制一切犀牛制品，来保护这种濒临灭亡的“异兽”。
