Friendships and sisterhood are so very critical on this Christian journey and the bonds that we form together help us live life fuller and whole. The Woman in The Mirror Podcast hosted by Lady J Williams and Chavon Robinson will empower women through Christ to challenge themselves to become greater than she ever imagined by looking at the woman in the mirror.
In this special Favor Feature episode of Woman In The Mirror, host Chavon Moody honors the brilliance and faith of one of New Direction Christian Church’s very own—Dr. Trila Cleveland. As we celebrate Black History Month, we turn our spotlight toward those creating history right among us—faithful, gifted women like Dr. Cleveland who are walking in God’s purpose.
A veteran educator of 28 years and now the author of I Am Enough: A Faith Journey for Young Women, Dr. Cleveland shares the heart behind her book, rooted in faith, wellness, and a passion for building up young women. From her early days as a pastor’s kid to leading in the field of education, her story is a testament to how God prepares us long before we realize it.
In this intimate conversation, Dr. Cleveland reflects on the formative power of her childhood, her love for scripture, and the importance of reminding young women (and the young at heart) that they are seen, valued, and fearfully and wonderfully made.
Grounded in key scriptures—Psalm 139:14, Jeremiah 29:11, and Galatians 6:9—this episode will encourage you to embrace your worth, pursue your purpose, and trust the Author of your story.

Ep. 88, "From Roots to Fruit"
Welcome to The Woman in the Mirror Podcast and the Divine Devotional series with your host, Chavon Moody. As we step into a new year of purpose and reflection, Chavon invites us into a powerful devotional moment inspired by Matthew 7:15–20 and her personal fasting journey.
Through the lens of a family apple-picking trip, she explores the deeper meaning of spiritual consumption—how the fruit people bear reveals the condition of their roots. What are we feeding ourselves spiritually and emotionally? Are the people and messages we take in bearing fruit that uplifts or depletes us?
With grace and insight, Chavon encourages us to pause, reflect, and ask: How do I feel after consuming this fruit? From discernment to discipline, this episode is a reminder that not all fruit is worth eating—and if it's not rooted in Christ, you're better off starving.
Tune in and be inspired to modify your spiritual diet in 2024. God has given us eyes to see and wisdom to choose—so let’s choose well.

Ep. 87, "The Ultimate Gift"
In this heartfelt installment of The Woman in the Mirror Podcast: Divine Devotional Series, Chavon Moody invites us to pause amid the holiday hustle and remember the true reason for the season—Jesus Christ. As the world rushes toward gift-giving and celebrations, this episode centers our hearts on the transformative power of experiences over possessions.
Chavon shares a personal reflection sparked by a simple search for Christmas gifts for her daughter, leading to a deeper revelation: the most meaningful gifts are not wrapped in paper but revealed in divine encounters. Through powerful biblical stories—from Peter walking on water to Saul's radical transformation, to the fourth figure in the fiery furnace—we're reminded that time with Jesus creates unforgettable moments that shape our faith.
This episode is a loving call to reflect on your own journey with God. What moments have marked your life with His presence? When has He shown up in your fire, redirected your path, or spoken to your emptiness?
As you move through this sacred season, may this devotional inspire you to prioritize quality time with Christ—the ultimate gift. Experience Him anew, and let your heart be filled with His unmatchable joy, peace, and love.
Tune in and be blessed. And remember, Lady J and Chavon love you—and you can't do nothing about it.
