Wonderfully Broken

About Wonderfully Broken

Welcome to the Wonderfully Broken podcast, a deeply personal journey initiated by Mackenzie Engram. Back in 2020, in the depths of her despair, Mackenzie cried out to the Lord about how she felt so incredibly broken. The Lord’s gentle response, "Yes, my daughter, but it’s a wonderful thing," is the cornerstone of this podcast's message. Wonderfully Broken is a sanctuary for exploring the messiness of real life, anchored in truth and relatability. Picking up our cross daily often means facing the breaking of various aspects of our lives, which can be incredibly challenging. Emphasizing that such challenges, though difficult, can coexist with a wonderful grace of walking with the Lord. The podcast promises to be a blend of emotions and experiences, from laughter to tears, from vulnerability to strength, and moments of profound honesty. It's a safe haven where uplifting and encouraging conversations will take place as well as the deep and heavy ones, all rooted in a foundation of faith in the Lord. Mackenzie positions herself as a sister in faith, offering words of truth, life, and accountability, and she warmly encourages her listeners to do the same for her. "Wonderfully Broken" is a collective journey, a reminder that you're not alone, and with the Lord's guidance, navigating this beautiful mess we call life can indeed be a wonderfully enriching experience.

In today’s episode, we’re talking about what it really means to abide in the Lord. We’re walking through John 15:1–8 and shifting the focus from performing for God to simply staying connected to Him. I’m sharing what I’m learning in real time—definitely not perfect, but growing in what it looks like to remain in Him daily. I hope this encourages you as much as it has encouraged me. Love you, guys!!
