<p>In Acts chapter 4, Peter and John are brought before the religious leaders after the healing of the lame man.</p><p><br></p><p>They are told not to speak or teach in the name of Jesus anymore, but their answer is clear: they cannot help but speak about what they have seen and heard.</p><p><br></p><p>After being released, the believers gather and pray, not for comfort or safety, but for boldness.</p><p><br></p><p>Acts 4 shows us a church that understood the cost of following Jesus, but also trusted the power of God to keep speaking through them.</p><p><br></p><p>Today is Day 28 of the 52 Day Challenge through Luke and Acts.</p>

Day 27: Acts 3 | Silver, Gold, and the Name of Jesus
<p>In Acts chapter 3, Peter and John encounter a man who had been lame from birth at the Beautiful Gate of the temple.</p><p><br></p><p>The man asks for money, but Peter offers something far greater: healing in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.</p><p><br></p><p>As the crowd gathers in amazement, Peter does not take credit for the miracle. He points everyone back to Jesus, the Author of life, and calls them to repent and turn back to God.</p><p><br></p><p>Today is Day 27 of the 52 Day Challenge through Luke and Acts.</p>
