Podcast Overview

Would You, Could You, Believe It Now? A podcast about strange journeys, hidden truths, and wild beliefs.

This podcast is about giving you the data on things you've been told not to believe. It's about asking the question, "If you really heard all the information, would you believe it?" We're taught to automatically believe what we're presented on the stage of mainstream media. We're taught to not resist, to go along, to put our heads down and work and work and work until we're too old to work and then we can vacation for a bit before we die. There's something deeply wrong to us about that.

A lot of us don't like how we're forced to live and we fall victim to the illusion there isn't anything we can do about it, but there is: Learn. Learn about what is being kept from you, not for you to be persuaded into one belief, but to find out how you might feel if you really had all the facts.

That's what this podcast is about. If you had more information, would you believe differently?

We're not about convincing you of anything or about changing your beliefs. We don't want to change anything about you. We just want to give you the chance to hear information you otherwise wouldn't have had the time to find so YOU can decide what you want to believe about it.

In this episode we're at the Petrified Forrest in Arizona talking about death, synapses, perception, the phenomenon, and asking the tough questions. We wonder about what the world would be like if we had more room to ask these questions and focus on the weirder things in life. What would happen to our perception and how we experience the world? If you've ever asked these same questions you'll get a lot out of this episode.

Perception, Synapses, Neuroplasticity & The Phenomenon

We'll be back soon with more from me and Rob's roadtrip, but this week you are getting a read-along with me, Sami, from my Substack SoundsLikeSami. This article is all about perception, synapses, human perception and how the phenomenon could be understood through this lens. The inspiration for this article came from something called a "download" that hit me like a title wave one day earlier this year. That download launched me into several months of deep diving through studies on perception, neuroplasticity, and synapses. If you'd like to read with me please visit https://soundslikesami.substack.com/p/neurons-synapses-and-the-phenomenon.

Thank you and enjoy!
