Wrestlers and People is a podcast that goes beyond championships, storylines, and finishing moves to explore the real people behind professional wrestling.
Every wrestler has a story. Some have traveled the world chasing a dream. Others have overcome setbacks, built businesses, raised families, or reinvented themselves outside the ring. This podcast focuses on those stories.

GSW Going Global in 2021 with Inception and Catalyst
GSW - Global Syndicate Wrestling - is a new and exciting wrestling promotion that has kickstarted their journey during the pandemic, not only demonstrating their willingness to take on difficult times but also a show of their passion for professional wrestling.
Following on from their successful first show Inception, I was fortunate enough to speak with the GSW Founder Brandon Ascari about his post-show feelings, some of the logistics behind running a wrestling promotion and many of the unique tools from the film industry that he is able to utilize and help his business grow.
Very exciting times for GSW as it becomes more well known around the world and this is absolutely the beginning of a fantastic product for years to come.

Making Professional Wrestling Big in the Middle East with Dubai's Shaheen
For the first time I get to sit down with Shaheen for a second time and its amazing to reflect on how things have changed since we first spoke 9 months ago. Developments in professional wrestling in this region has not only grown exponentially but also developed into something that is tangiable and strong. As we discuss opportunities which present itself, we also touch on the future and what this means for future aspiring professional wrestlers. Much of our inspiration comes through knowledge and discipline towards training and athleticism. But it really comes down to the work ethic that allows you to push to reach goals that are not only limited to the middle east, but to the whole world. Our ambitions are high but we are also focused on achieving truly what we desire.
