Seit dem 1. März ist Giuseppe „Pepe“ Cannas neuer Kommandant der Feuerwehr Waldshut-Tiengen – und gleichzeitig ein echtes Eigengewächs der Stadt. Bereits 1994 trat er der Jugendfeuerwehr bei, machte aus seiner Leidenschaft schließlich seinen Beruf und blickt heute auf eine beeindruckende Laufbahn zurück. In der aktuellen Folge von „WT – doppelt hört besser“ spricht Pepe Cannas darüber, warum er sich freut, wieder in seiner alten Heimat tätig zu sein, welche Erfahrungen ihn geprägt haben und welche Veränderungen er für die Feuerwehr Waldshut-Tiengen anstoßen möchte. Eine Folge über Verantwortung, Teamgeist und die Zukunft des Feuerwehrwesens.
