This year, we've meticulously selected and revamped classic tunes, infusing them with a fresh, danceable energy. A Festive Fusion of Classics and Contemporary Beats We've included timeless holiday favorites, ensuring this collection resonates with all our listeners. Mariah Carey's iconic "All I Want For Christmas," remixed by Low Sunday, headlines our lineup, followed closely by Kylie Minogue's "Every Day's Like Christmas," given a Stock, Aitken & Waterman twist. Donna Summer's 2009 special remix "Rosie Christmas" for Abercrombie & Fitch, and the powerful Cahill remix of Leona Lewis' "One More Sleep" add to the festive flair. The set continues with Bananarama's "Baby It's Christmas" in an Almighty remix, the CLX remix of the charity classic "Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band Aid, and Kelly Clarkson's "Underneath the Tree" in a vibrant Morlando remix. We culminate with the Illicit remix of Kristine W's "Oh Holy Night," bridging Christmas past and present. New Additions and Exclusive Remixes This year also welcomes newcomers to our Christmas dance series. Ariana Grande's "Santa Tell Me," in a unique mashup with Adam Turner, and the Choppe Davila remix of Ed Sheeran and Elton John's "Merry Christmas" showcase the evolving landscape of Christmas music. We also feature "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town" in a Dirty Disco and Traig remix, and the song that inspired this year's set, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?

HO! HO! After careful consideration as to what I will likely do next year — I decided to go ahead and drop the ultimate EDM Christmas dance party mix for everyone's enjoyment. Well, maybe not everyone. This special edition EDM set features a variety of genres including Electro House, Dubstep, Trance (https://partyfavorz.com/ultimate-trance-classics-volume-2/), Trap, Hip-Hop, House, and even Eurodance. It's quite a bit to digest and may not be for everyone but that's why Party Favorz has years of holiday dance remix podcasts (https://partyfavorz.com/x-mas-dance-mix-2019/) that may be more to your liking in our back catalog. I listen to the original mix yesterday and was impressed at how I was able to get such a diverse group of songs at wildly different BPM(s) to mesh cohesively. One of the tricks is to duplicate a few songs like "All I Want For Christmas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_I_Want_for_Christmas_Is_You),' 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Claus_Is_Comin%27_to_Town),' and 'Last Christmas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Christmas).' To be certain there were multiple copies of 'Jingle Bells (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jingle_Bells)' (a song I've always hated mainly for its lack of structure) 'Christmas, Baby Please Come Home (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_(Baby_Please_Come_Home))' (one of my all-time favorites especially by Darlene Love and U2 (https://partyfavorz.com/u2-legacy-the-megamix/)),

There were so many new remixes available — there was enough to make an EDM/Dance Club (https://partyfavorz.com/jingle-electric-2021-the-seasons-hottest-dance-club-songs/) version but honestly, I'm petered out. That will be saved for the 2022 release. This set leans heavily on the Circuit side because Dario Xavier (https://darioxavier1.bandcamp.com/) released five holiday remixes coupled with one from last year I forgot I had. Jet Boot Jack (https://soundcloud.com/jet-boot-jack) released a remix for Diana Ross (https://partyfavorz.com/diana-ross-the-ultimate-diva-series/)' version of 'This Christmas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Christmas_(Donny_Hathaway_song))' (originally made famous by Donny Hathaway) and Joel Dickinson (a.k.a. Thee Werq'n Bitches and formerly one-half of The Assembly with Billy Waters) remixed The Carpenters' 'Merry Christmas Darling,' which I've had for several years but never used because it was kinda dark but figured 'what the hell.' Of course, Houston's Dirty Disco (https://partyfavorz.com/dirty-disco-pride-legacy-edition/) dropped their annual holiday mix and this year's entry features Kiva on the <a href="https://partyfavorz.

I grew up in the Catholic church and for all the drama, the piss poor education, the failed attempt to teach creationism alongside actual science for which I questioned everything and was punished by Sister Ursula repeatedly, and the sexual abuse — you would think that I would shun the holiday season but I don't. I have a love-hate relationship with Christmas in that I have great memories as a kid going to Corpus Christi, TX to visit Momo and Boonpa, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and always enjoyed myself. My grandparents were non-practicing Baptists, alcoholics, and basically hell raisers, which made them a lot of fun to be around. As I got older and after their deaths, the family pretty much splintered and the era of fun and family had come to an end. By this time, I was in college in north Texas, alone, afraid, HIV+, and wondered when it was my turn to die. That never happened nor was I ever even close. I was new to the whole gay scene and had become great friends with Kurt who also happened to be from South Texas. He was a smart, bitchy queen that could slice through bullshit the minute it walked through the door. Yes, we were friends with benefits but that's about it. I distinctly remember going to meet him for lunch during the season when he worked at Express in the mall and they were playing U2's rendition of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" over their speaker system ...

I spent the better part of Thanksgiving working on this set because dinner wasn't served until 7pm. I had been busy scrounging my DJ service and various SoundCloud accounts to create this year's offering of holiday dance music favorites and really think I hit this one out of the park. I went back this morning to ensure the integrity of the set and made some minor changes that only I would notice. If I'm happy — then I know y'all will be. I've got all your favorite tracks that have appeared on various iterations of X-mas Dance over the years and scooped several new entries. I also added a few that only appeared once over the years. I also want to give a HUGE shout-out to our good friends from Mark D and JD Arnold a.k.a. Dirty Disco for sending me an advance copy of this year's entry into the holiday dance music (https://partyfavorz.com/dirty-disco-pride-legacy-edition/) landscape, "Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow" by the fabulous Debby Holiday. I've been begging them to update the Weather Girls classic "Dear Santa (Bring Me A Man This Christmas," but they completely forgot. Mark is all on board and promised to deliver their version next year. In the interim, I came across this fantastic version by Raquela in my DJ service and ran with it. The vocals are spot on and her version delivers a circuit-friendly re-work that stays true to the original,

FYI, all past Christmas dance mixes are still available on the site by clicking here (https://partyfavorz.com/x-mas-dance/). I've been holding out for some new entries and only three came through. Out of those, only one was worth adding. I was so looking forward to Dirty Disco's release this year that when it dropped, I was disappointed if not severely heartbroken. I was hoping they'd do a remake of the Weather Girls classic "Dear Santa (Bring Me A Man This Christmas)" which is so up their alley. Unfortunately, they put out a lackluster dance mix of "Last Christmas" by Brenda Reed, which is not some of her best work, so I took a pass and brought back the Young Divas version of "Dear Santa" and a George Michael bootleg of "Last Christmas." I kept this year's entry tight and remastered several older mixes to bring them up to today's standards. While many of the tracks have been recycled from previous efforts, isn't that what Christmas music is all about? That is, hearing your favorite tunes year after year by your favorite artists and never getting sick of them. Throw in a few newbies or alternate versions and you got yourself a little holiday party rocking around the Christmas tree. I for one never get sick of hearing the Eagles take on "Please Come Home For Christmas", or the Pretenders' version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," or even U2's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)." These are just a couple of my personal favorites.

As Party Favorz winds down our 10th year, I found myself with some extra time and decided to pull together that one killer holiday dance set that I felt I had not yet achieved. X-mas Dance Mix 2K17 achieves that goal and more. Pulling together my favorite seasonal dance classics like Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas," Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas," Christine Aguilera's "The Christmas Song," and Kristine W's "Oh Holy Night" while adding a couple of new mixes like Dirty Disco & Jeanie Tracy's "Santa Baby," and George Michael's (a.k.a. Wham!) "Last Christmas" coupled with smooth transitions that are really hard to achieve on a mix of songs like these, you have the makings of the ULTIMATE holiday dance mix or one that I can finally say...YES! instead of "this will suffice." Since the holidays are always pretty rough for me as I put on a happy face and with all the crap being perpetrated on the world by our own demented, narcissistic and much-loathed president maybe, just maybe this can pull you out of the doldrums. If so, then I've done my small part in making the world a better place. ENJOY! Album: X-mas Dance Mix 2K17Genre: Dance, House, FunkyYear: 2017Total Time: 02:02:30 1. That time where we stuff ourselves with turkey, fight over politics with family and friends, sleep it off, watch football and parades and try to get the best steals on gifts for loved ones or ourselves. In an effort to get everyone in the mood and help ease the frustrations usually associated with all of the above, I'm reposting the X-mas Dance (https://partyfavorz.com/category/x-mas-dance/) Mix from 2016 to help lessen the anxiety and hopefully put you in a better frame of mind. Over the years, I've made a handful of these awesome holiday dance sets for those that like a lot of bounce to their holiday music. I've linked all of them below but if you only need one, then this is the one you want. Hope everyone shows some restraint in their consumerist tendencies unless you want to endow Party Favorz with the gift that keeps on giving [grin]. Make sure to pay close attention to the site because I've got a boatload of new material heading your way beginning tomorrow and starting with the 2017 Jingle Electric. Until then...HAPPY THANKSGIVING unless you live outside of the US. In that case, HAPPY THURSDAY! ENJOY!!! Album: X-mas Dance Mix 2K16Genre: Dance, House, FunkyYear: 2016Total Time: 01:52:19 1. HO! HO! I wasn't sure how to pull this off but somehow I managed. With a few new entries showing up and help from our good friend Marshall B., I was able to string together an all new set that includes some of our favorite tunes from season's past. X-mas Dance 2K16 is one BIG fat continuous holiday dance mix that hits all the right notes and includes remixes from several decades starting from the 70's [gulp]. Many of the perennial favorites are here. With Party Favorz coming up on our 10 year anniversary in 2017, this will undoubtedly be our final mix in the X-mas Dance (https://partyfavorz.com/category/x-mas-dance/) category but likely a favorite of yours for years to come. If you need a lot more energy to get your holiday spirits up, this set should do the trick. Think of it like Santa and Rudolph dropping some circuit, funky and EDM into their MP3 player for the long journey around the world. This should keep the mood up for the rest of the reindeer and will certainly do the same for you. Until the next time...ENJOY! I swear on mother’s grave, I didn’t realize I had enough songs to put this thing together. When the new Kelly Clarkson (https://partyfavorz.com/kelly-clarkson-2018-the-diva-series/) “Wrapped In Red” remix rolled in, I added it to a folder called “Christmas Dance Unreleased” that contains holiday dance songs I was saving up for later. I’ve been putting stuff in there since 2010 when I first created the original X-mas Dance Mix (https://partyfavorz.com/funky-disco-house/x-mas-dance-mix/). Lo and behold, it was looking pretty stealthy, so I dropped all the songs into my mixer and I’ll be damned if this thing didn’t come together in 30 minutes! Being a staunch supporter of Holiday Music in general, I felt it was my duty to give you folks something new to bounce around to for your holiday cheer. I am in such a giving mood, I’ve uploaded this in its full hi-quality 320 INSANE bitrate and made it available for free to everyone! So put on your Santa hat and drop this puppy into your phone and hit PLAY! HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND AND AS ALWAYS …ENJOY! BTW, my mom’s still alive [grin]. LOVE YA MOM! Initially crafted back in 2010, this mix served as the cornerstone for what would become a fan-favorite tradition. Over the years, our Christmas Dance Mixes have evolved, adopting the latest tracks and styles, but this classic mix holds a special place in our Party Favorz history. This beloved set, enjoyed seasonally in the Party Favorz household, returns to sprinkle a little holiday magic on your dancefloor. Although we're always scouting for fresh tracks to elevate the holiday experience, there's no denying that this inaugural Christmas Dance Mix still has the charisma to get your feet moving and your spirits lifted. As we gear up for the annual Jingle Electric (https://partyfavorz.com/tag/jingle-electric/) drop on Friday and the eagerly awaited Holiday Edition (https://partyfavorz.com/tag/holiday-edition/) for 2013 next week, let's not forget the iconic tracks that make this classic mix so enduring. From Cher & Rosie's rendition of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHv3QqhvpzM)" to Donna Summer's "Rosie Christmas," (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YZF-QeAjCE) each track conjures the unmistakable blend of Christmas nostalgia and danceable beats. Fan-favorite "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey, given a new spin with the Low Sunday Extended Mix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdaP2bTQc3c),

Actually, Rick and I don't put up decorations until the weekend of Thanksgiving. However, we both agreed we needed some Holiday cheer sooner rather than later. So, we pulled out all the lights and the wreaths and hung everything up with the precision and care of two old lady's that have been collecting ornaments since their first husbands died...LOL. The most special item is our Charlie Brown Christmas Tree that we bought back in 2001, the first year we moved to Atlanta. We didn't have a lot of money to burn, but we were at Michael's (an arts and craft chain in the U.S.) and they had everything 50% off. We knew we couldn't buy a real tree, and even if we did, my anal-retentive self would have had to make all the decorations by hand; something I did flawlessly with my ex, who kept all of them...bitch! I digress. Anyway, that also costs money. So when I saw this little kinda ugly tree made out of dried branches and already decorated, I decided to find the money to rescue it. Obviously, I bought it and it's been shining brightly every season ever since. Christmas trees are symbolic for the obvious reasons, but our little Charlie Brown tree symbolizes our first Christmas together and everything we did to get here. Due to its special nature, I just thought I would share that with you guys. Over the years we've added and removed stuff, always trying to keep it fresh, but at the end of the day, it's still our little Charlie tree.
