S1 EP011 Roberto Enamorado aka Roberto in Love
Did you know “...the full quote is actually a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one”? Connecting mental health as well self-actualization and leveraging art as a tool towards peace, in this podcast I interview multimedia artist and artivist Roberto Enamorado aka Roberto In Love. We touch upon many topics - art as a form of meditation, the stigmatization of people that have many pursuits, family dysfunction, medicating of children in schools, accountability, to creating the reality we exist in - I sincerely hope you see the value in this conversation as I did. Enjoy!

S1 EP008 Shifting Perspective
This episode we graze on the idea of shifting perspective. Sometimes we all get too tunnel visioned in our own emotions or a single thought that we forget about the bigger picture. Every situation has multiple angles and that is something we shouldn't forget, especially when we get too caught up in one idea. For example, even when it's a right or wrong circumstance and let's say you're in the right, there's always someone else's side of the story and that is how the full picture is painted. How you see the world is different from how everyone else sees it, and that is also different from how it actually is. And that is where the beauty of communication, realization, and enlightenment comes to play. Thank you for choosing to be with us and lending us your ears. Enjoy!

S1 EP006 From Minus to Plus - Hate to Love
This episode, Y shifts the focus onto turning the negative into the positive. It's not always easy to see that the grass is always greener on the other side when everything seems like it's falling apart but it's all in the matter of perspective. There is always a way to convert that minus sign into a plus sign. Thank you for sharing with us your time and energy into hearing our thoughts. Enjoy. Showcase: "Mood" instrumental by Y?

S1 EP005 Transitions
This week we take a deep dive into the concept of transitions. Whether it pertains to music or in real life, transitions are an important phase of change and is a necessary step to go from point A to point B. They come in all shapes and sizes, short and long, abrupt and smooth, and it all depends on what’s being communicated - what’s happening. It may be easier to modify these moments in art than in real life, but it’s still up to you on how you approach that stage to change for a new phase. Thank you for listening. S1 EP001 The Life of Y?
This podcast is going to be a little unique, for the fact that currently we have no format and are unsure of what kind of consistency we want to incorporate throughout the episodes. Two things are for certain, it’s music and creation based, and also this may fall under the category of self help, self improvement, and mindfulness thinking. Every episode will contain some form of music that we or friends have created, whether it be actually produced material or an improvised session. And some episodes may contain other material such as meditations and breathing exercises. This episode, we’re going to introduce Y and who he is and how he spends his days. To give a glimpse at where he comes from, what he does for himself , and how he achieves it, I think it’ll give you, the listener, a better understanding of who Y is. We begin with a short introduction of myself, Yuri, and we’re going to end with a breathing exercise that Y uses regularly which he’ll walk you through along with a piece of music we composed in collaboration with Paul Kang that was released earlier this year. Enjoy!
