Get to know Alexis and Shannon, the hosts of Y'all Some Real Ones. As friends of twenty years, they've had plenty of shared experiences that they love to look back on to laugh, cry, and shake their heads about. This podcast is their way of sharing their journey from pre-teen youngins to flirty thirty-somethins who are still trying to figure things out. #adultingishard Self-love, marriage, f*#k boys, religion & spirituality, sex, failed weight-loss journeys, infuriating work life, and more! Hopefully when you exit this podcast, you think to yourself, "Y'all Some Real Ones."
What up, y'all?! We are back with our final episode of the season! It has been such a blast kickin' it with you these past six months. We've learned a lot about the podcasting world, business in general, and, above all else, our friendship. We wanted to use this episode to discuss a topic that has been heavy on our mind lately: friendship, especially those friendships that don't stand the test of time (and disagreements.)
We share some stories with you of friendships that haven't worked out for us, how we learned to deal with the loss in a positive way, and what we value in all of our relationships moving forward.
We can say one thing for sure though, we value YOU for being a listener. We hope that you have enjoyed season 1 of YSRO. Please LIKE and FOLLOW this podcast on whatever streaming platform you frequent and share it with your friends. We've got lots planned for 2021 --- which is when we'll be back with more episodes. We're playing the game "Questions You've Never Been Asked" inspired by one of our favorite content creators, Evelyn from the Internets (check her out!). We definitely learned a lot about each other and revealed a lot about our personalities.
Have questions that you want us to answer? Send them to yallsomerealones@gmail.com and we'll answer them in a future episode.
