Double digits! Sahil and Ram made it to episode ten, and to celebrate they dig into the most universally awkward social situation there is: someone greets you like an old friend and you have absolutely no idea who they are. Do you stop them and ask, or fake it and hope context clues save you?
From there they talk about pen pals, what happened to snail mail and letter-writing between bros, and why small guys insist on driving trucks the size of a small apartment. Somewhere along the way Ram gets diagnosed via a mall trip, there's a mix-up between creatine and creatinine that nearly ends in a kidney scare, and a smuggling story involving a Ziploc bag labeled "crazy."
Then, because no episode is complete without a food tangent: Jollibee's secret world domination, why there's no such thing as Indian fast food, the truth about Taco Bell not being Mexican, an Anthony Bourdain detour, and Sahil's plan to manifest owning a Jollibee franchise by sheer will alone.
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep.9 - How Comfortable Are You In A Locker Room?
Sahil and Ram open with a question for the audience: how comfortable are you getting naked in front of other dudes? What starts as a simple locker room debate turns into a full cultural tour, from Russian banyas to Japanese onsens, a Charlie Sheen documentary detour nobody saw coming. The episode takes a hard right turn into film talk: The Odyssey vs. IMAX, why Nolan might have found a formula, Oppenheimer's sound design doing more work than the script, and a Tobey Maguire disappearance theory that somehow ends up at Molly's Game and John Travolta's career arc. Then there's Nic Cage playing a very specific kind of drunk, Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby, and a plane-remote rant that anyone who's flown economy will feel in their soul.Somewhere in there they also cover why nobody agrees on what time it actually is, from Filipino Time to Egyptian Minutes to East Indian Standard Time. And yes, there was no shawarma this episode. We almost didn't make it.But most importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep. 8 - Who Was The First Guy To Milk A Cow?
Sahil and Ram are back, and this one goes everywhere. It starts with a deep dive into psychedelic history, then spirals into the wildest "firsts" in human history, because somebody, somewhere, decided to milk a cow first, and we need to know who and why.
From there: Plato's Cave, the origin story of coffee, and a very serious ranking of the world's best beer sips.
It's an honest, funny conversation about culture, identity, and why none of it should divide us.
We close it out with food, a top 5 cuisine ranking, and the daily habits that actually changed their lives, journaling, working out, and learning not to "define yourself as old."
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep. 7 - Would You Give Up Everything For A One-Way Trip To Mars?
Sahil and Ram kick off with a NASA-inspired hypothetical: if you were offered a permanent, one-way seat to colonize Mars, would you take it?
What follows? Who gets to come with you, who gets left behind, whether aliens are watching us scratch ourselves and judging accordingly, and why humanity might just not be "ready" for contact yet.
From there: 23andMe results and the mystery of Filipino ancestry, why self-deprecating humor is a double-edged sword on stage, a real NASA Mars simulation that's recruiting actual volunteers, and a full casting call for who you'd want on your own Mars crew (spoiler: they forgot to include a woman, and they know it).
Things get unexpectedly reflective with a detour into digital detoxing, 10 days off-grid in Coorg, a Cuba trip that broke by day four, and why writers might have already figured out the isolated, distraction-free life the rest of us are chasing. Somewhere in there: monks, gap years, Stephen King's work ethic, and what one item you'd actually take to another planet.
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep. 6 - Would You Let A Stranger Drive You Home Drunk?
Sahil and Ram kick off episode six with an urgent investigation into why people drive around speed bumps instead of just going over them, which naturally spirals into a full breakdown of driving culture across Dubai, Manila, India, Nigeria, and the U.S.: missing side mirrors, honking as a language, tuk-tuks vs. pedicabs, and the psychology of stuffed toys on dashboards.
From there, it drifts into car guys vs. watch guys, electric vehicles catching on in the Philippines, and a detour into Filipino radio, karaoke culture, and whether singing might just be genetic. Somewhere in the mix, they get properly philosophical, whether actions create thoughts or thoughts create actions, the difference between purpose and guilt, the classic fisherman-and-the-businessman parable, and why writing down your goals might be overrated.
Sahil also opens up about giving up alcohol, and the two dig into the strange, oddly wholesome logic of paying a total stranger to drive your car home for you while you're drunk, a service apparently unique to Dubai.
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep. 5 - You've Turned Me Into Pavlov's Dog
Sahil and Ram start the episode with one very important topic: office shawarma cravings. From there, things quickly go off the rails, in the best way.
They dive into code-switching accents, growing up between cultures, how Ram landed his radio gig by simply putting his work out into the world, and why making a phone call now feels like an Olympic event. Throw in the return of flip phones, a debate about whether AI is making us more productive or just professionally horizontal, and you've got yourself an episode.
But more importantly, we're just hanging out.

Ep. 4 - Would You Tell A Stranger They Have Spinach In Their Teeth?
If a total stranger has spinach in their teeth, do you tell them?
We really need to know because this is what builds a strong community. Anyway, it was supposed to be a question for the listeners, then it got weird.
What we love about this podcast is that they keep getting deeper, and our goal is to provide real wisdom through art.
This episode was artsy.
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.
Appreciate you tagging along, and yes, let us know in the comments about the spinach thing.

Ep. 3 - Where Did "Ma'am Sir" Come From?
Sahil and Ram are back, still figuring out this podcast thing one dangling-leg director's chair at a time.
This episode spirals from a genius plan to break into the Guinness Book of World Records (via wall sits) into a full-blown meditation on weekends: do they even exist anymore once you're freelancing, and is blurring the line between weekday and weekend freedom or just delusion?
Along the way: shower-thought cringe compilations, botched celebrity interviews, an accidental deep dive into names and nicknames (Sahil, Kesh, Rommel, Ram, pick your fighter), the linguistic wonders of "ma'am sir" and mouth-pointing, a Dragon Mart fever dream, and a very passionate, very unsolicited review of the New York City subway system.
Somewhere in there they also invent "Only Pants." You're welcome.
But most importantly, we are just hanging out!

Ep. 2 - Would You Sell Your Car For A Watch?
Sahil and guest host Ram are back, and this time they're unpacking the origin story of "Yes to Hangs" itself, why grown adults are so bad at actually hanging out, and how a throwaway text like "we should hang sometime" became a whole show.
From there it spirals (as it does): the gym as a mental game more than a physical one, whether just thinking about lifting weights can make you stronger, the heaviest object in the gym being your first shoe, and why counting steps feels like cheating. Somewhere in there Ram becomes a full-blown watch guy, there's a deep dive into vintage Cartiers and pilot watches nobody asked for, and things eventually land on millennials vs. Gen Z - being lied to about what hard work gets you.
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.
More soon.

Ep. 1 - You Execute Because You Have No Clarity
Welcome to Yes To Hangs. It all started with an existential crisis. Sahil and guest host Ram introduce themselves, explain why this podcast exists and somehow end up spiraling.
What does it mean to be a creator?
How authentic are you capable of being?
What does having to pick a niche do to a human being with so many interests?
How does one process all the feelings that come with putting yourself out into the world?
What's it like to live a life as creative in a very distracting world?
But most importantly, we're just hanging out.
More soon.
