<p> كتب عنها ابن زيدان في إتحاف أعلام الناس مايلي: "خناثة بنت الشيخ الأكبر الأشهر بكار بن علي بن عبد الله المغافري، السيدة المباركة، زوج سيدنا الجد الأعظم مولانا إسماعيل سلطان المغرب... </p><p>حالها: فقيهة عالمة اديبة، دينة، من أصرح العرب نسبا وأجلهم حسبا، وأعرقهم مجدا وفخرا، وأعزهم جانبا، وأرفعهم قدرا، من صميم قبائل المغافرة".</p><p>ويقول أبو عبد الله الوزير الشرقي الاسحاقي:</p><p> "ولا نعلم واحدة من الحرائر التي دخلت دار الخلافة العلية من أزواج مولانا إسماعيل تشبه هذه السيدة، أو تدانيها همة وصيانة وعفافا ورزانة وحصانة عقل ومتانة دين...".</p><p> ويضيف: </p><p>"كان لها كلام ورأي وتدبير مع مولانا أمير المؤمنين، ومشاورة في بعض أمور الرعية، وكانت له وزيرة صدق وبطانة خير، تاأره بالخير وتحرضه عليه، وتتوسط في حوائج الناس.. ويقصد بابها أهلالحياء والحشمة وذوو الحاجات".</p>
