<p>一只叼着肉的狗经过河边时，无意中看到自己水中的倒影。它错误地认为是另一条狗嘴里叼着一块更大的肉，就决定去抢那块肉。它来不及把嘴里的肉放下，就扑向水中那块更大的肉。当然，它掉到了河里，扑了个空。当它湿漉漉地爬上岸时，才发现原来叼在嘴里的那块肉已经被河水冲走了，河中有一只狗望着自己，也是湿漉漉的，嘴里的肉不见了。<br /></p><span><br /></span><span><br /></span>

狗、公鸡和狐狸
<p>狗与公鸡是好邻居。晚上，公鸡跳到树枝上栖息，狗就在下面的树洞里睡觉。天亮了，有只狐狸想吃鸡，就跑到树下，恭敬地说：“您的嗓音太动听了！能下来给我唱一曲吗？”公鸡知道狐狸想吃自己，就回答：“可以啊，不过请你去叫醒树洞里的那个看门的。他打开门，我才能下去。”狐狸刚把头伸进树洞，狗突然跳起来，咬了它一口。狐狸痛得哇哇大叫，狼狈地逃走了。<br /></p>

狗和屠夫
<p>一只狗一上午也没找到食物，饿的肚子咕咕直叫。这时，它看见前面有家肉店，便打算去偷一块肉出来。想到这儿，他悄悄溜进肉店，趁屠夫正忙着，偷了一个猪心就往外跑。屠夫听见身后好像有动静，回头看见正往外逃的狗，想追已经来不及了。于是他大声喊：“你这畜生！今后不论你跑到哪里，我都会留心提防着！你偷走了一个猪心，却把另一个心给了我！”<br /></p>
