A elitização do yoga é um problema aqui no Brasil e no mundo em muitos países ocidentais. A palavra yoga representa na filosofia indiana união. Onde está essa união no yoga? A competitividade é uma arma do capitalismo, para enfraquecer e escravizar as mentes humanas. Tudo se torna produto neste mundo capitalista, não importa quem você é, mas o quanto pode pagar. O jogo do ego dominado pelo dinheiro, é manipulando o ser humano praticante de yoga que deveria em tese viver livre desse apelo material. Por isso a importância do autoconhecimento como dizia jidhu.
