My Journey with my Cycle & Conscious Menstruality through to Conception of my Pregnancy

I actually used to believe that the first day of my period was the end rather than the beginning. I never once thought of my menstrual cycle as an actual cycle or that it had components and energies within each phase. I just believed that we had a period every month and that was it. This simple shift in mindset changed everything for me as well as many other things which I talk about in this episode. I once believed I was infertile due to listening to outside influence even when I knew in my body and soul that I was not. I have one ovary due to a large cyst being removed, was told there'd be no reason I couldn't get pregnant again but wasn't experiencing this. I share this short story of mine with you that I recorded a little while ago to support women to come into alignment with their hormones and natural, infradian rhythm. Connect with how you're feeling each day Connect with how the inner seasons of your cycle feel within your body Make it a priority to ground into the season you're in and embody that energy. If you are loving this so far please make sure you follow and subscribe to this channel and share it with people who you think will benefit from listening. It helps  me so much too. Self-pleasure as Body Reclamation with @mamachowceo

I know I'm not the only one who has been in a relationship and felt they needed to hide! There's an unhealthy narrative that lingers in the collective associating pleasure with a sense of 'cheating on your partner', or is it just me? In this episode Choiwee and I seek to normalise and destigmatise the realm of self-pleasure through sharing our own stories around shame, sexual trauma, and body disconnection. Hear how we both share our own stories from being disconnected to our bodies and our sexuality to being able to hear what our body is communicating to us, relationships ending and then feeling a sense of freedom within to explore self as well as embark on a healing journey AND MORE. Without a doubt your life will change in many ways when you choose to connect your pleasure and sexuality. Navigating Perspectives Series: The Mother Wound -Open hearted connection and Non-Attachment - Kōrero with Choiwee Moon

We are super grateful to have sharing her perspective in this episode the beautiful and wise Choiwee Moon, @mamachowceo (IG), Holistic Wellness Practitioner. With her background in Education working with young children and youth in mental health her much experienced and considered perspectives in this korero are very insightful and immersive. With her deep grasp of energies working alongside men and women in the mental health space she navigates conversations and work related experiences with regards to trauma, healing, mental health and suicide prevention with expertise. As a practitioner she is committed to creating safe and judgment free, spaces and identifying a great need for restructuring of societal expectations and support, particularly for our young boys and men. We navigate a lot in this particular korero. Whilst the subject header is “Mother Wound” the korero took us on such a journey. We traverse a range of topics all interwoven into the fabric that is healing and the impact of the Mother Wound on Tane and Wahine alike. Some of the areas we delve into include: Wellbeing and making really important decisions Taking steps to heal self Masculine and Feminine energies for both Tane and Wahine Presence, Emotional Availability and Forgiveness Wounded Masculine and Alchemising Anger. Creating Healthy Boundaries Inner Child wounds Open hearted connection and non-attachment “One of the coolest parts about this entire korero for me (Jazzy) is that I have a massive learning in the moment, as i share insights from the death of my mother. Clearly my Unconscious Mind was ready for this memory to be presented and for me to acknowledge and learn this beautiful lesson all about Feminine energy! Clearly I need it! And maybe you do too?!” - @navigatingnative The intention of this korero is to shine light on the difficult decisions we often have to face along our journey, the different events that happen along our pathway and the responsibilities we each have for our own healing. In addition to speaking to the “Mother Wound” how this impacts us and the role that vulnerability plays in our healing. Navigating Perspectives Series: Self-Awareness - The World we create when we're Unaware

We can literally create ourselves and the world we want to live in! As women this is what our womb is designed for. Often in a state of unawareness the mind seeks to understand every little detail. We often need to know all the things BEFORE we make a move or a decision. More often than not, it's this level of safety (ego/fear) that keeps us stuck in places we don't want to be. This is why we created a worksheet for you so you can analyse your beliefs and values to start becoming unstuck. Join Jazzy and I as we navigate the world of why we believe self-awareness is important. You'll hear us talk about the lives we were unaware we were creating, our defining moments AKA the visions we had if we chose to stay on the path we were on, as well as what we did to change our reality. We share bits about what we do in the world now Other topics discussed in this episode; Stakes in the ground & the small steps Self-awareness is presence Letting go of the old to gain the experiences we desire/need cultivates trust within self.
