   You have an obligation

What comes to your mind when you think of the word obligation? For me, I think of terms like chore, requirement, or an absence of choice. But, when it comes to my obligation to share the good news, I'm glad. Overjoyed even. It's a privilege and an honor to share what God has done for me, how He's set me free and who He is with others. Listen to today's episode, a psa of sorts, to uncover the wisdom from Acts 3 and remember one of the most important commands. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 NIV Scriptures from this episode: Acts 3:6 Acts 3:16 Acts 3:26 Isaiah Matt: 28:19 Galatians 5:14 NIV Ephesians 2:8-9 (NLT) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. The Universe Has Your Back

The Universe Has Your Back Summary I must admit, this week's title is more for SEO than my community of Christian moms. It's Thanksgiving 2023 and I recorded this special episode in response to a conversation with a family member. In this episode, we'll dive into the new age mantra, the universe has our back, and explore why it's just a lie we tell ourselves. Drawing on her own experiences and the teachings of Christianity, Semonna emphasizes the importance of seeking God instead of relying on the universe. She urges listeners to let go of false idols and embrace their divine purpose, reminding them that they are loved, valued, and meant for more. This powerful episode will challenge your beliefs and inspire you to step into your true potential. Embrace your potential. You have more than you realize.

Summary: In today's episode, we dive deep into topics that push us to unlock our untapped potential. We'll explore the concept of pride and fear, and how they can hold us back from reaching our fullest potential. Drawing inspiration from a quote by Les Brown, we delve into the idea that graveyards are the richest places on Earth, not because of material wealth, but because of the dreams left unfulfilled. We discuss how fear is the enemy and how it can steal our purpose, kill our dreams, and destroy our destiny. Don't forget to listen until the end, where I share some journaling prompts for our listeners to ponder, encouraging them to embrace their talents, strengths, weaknesses, and gifts from God. And finally, I challenge the listeners to consider how the people closest to them perceive their strengths and abilities, ultimately urging them not to give up, because God has already won the battle over fear. Get ready to be inspired, motivated, and reminded of the immense potential within you. Let's dive into this transformative episode. Discovering Your Purpose: Letting God Use You in Everyday Life

SUMMARY This episode is about the simplicity of purpose and the opportunity to let God use us in our everyday lives. In it, I share a recent experience at a local Apple Store with a man named Aaron. During an unexpected conversation, we discussed faith, habits, and changing one's money mindset (the God way) As believers, we have the power to influence others and make them curious and excited about Christ. When was the last time you asked God how you can serve Him today? Key Takeaways: Purpose doesn't have to be complicated or grandiose; it can be as simple as seeking the kingdom, gaining wisdom from God, and doing His will. Divine appointments can happen unexpectedly in everyday situations, allowing us to connect with others on a deeper level and impact their lives. As believers, we have the opportunity to influence others and make them curious and excited about Christ. Jesus lived a simple yet profound life, showing us that material possessions and worldly success are not the ultimate goal. Taking time to ask God how we can serve Him and help bring others to the kingdom can bring clarity and purpose to our lives.

    What are you selling?

SUMMARY What happens when you seek Financial Gain instead of God? In this episode, I discuss the consequences of selling pieces of oneself for money. This is my testimony about the time I accepted a job and traded my health and mental wellbeing for a six-figure salary. Have you ever accepted a job, opportunity or relationship that was more than what you expected? I have. I ignored all of the red flags and the need to assimilate because of the salary. My new salary made it easier for me to ignore the pieces that didn’t align with your expectations. But, I soon realized that I was trading more than what was required in the job description. Who Are You Really?

"Discovering My Identity and Purpose: Reevaluating Who I Am According to God" [SUMMARY]: This episode is about the importance of getting to know yourself, understanding how God sees you and ways to uncover your identity. Over the past few months, I’ve been on a journey to answer the question: Who am I? During this period of self-discovery, I learned that I was identifying myself by my roles, job title or the way others see me, but this is just a fraction of who I am. I also learned that how I see myself is contingent upon my relationship with God and how I believe He sees me. Beating yourself up is a sign of condemnation and it doesn’t align with God’s word. What does God say about condemnation? “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” - Romans 8:1 “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” ‭‭- John‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ RESOURCES Just a few songs about God and your identity in Him Good And Loved - Travis Greene & Steffany Gretzinger -> https://youtu.be/DefL-oJpjo8 Who You Say I Am - Hillsong Worship -> https://youtu.be/lKw6uqtGFfo Lauren Daigle - You Say -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIaT8Jl2zpI Phil Wickham - Till I Found You -> https://youtu.be/uBNUW63J8Kg Jonathan McReynolds & Chandler Moore - For Myself -> https://youtu.be/CsY_2-VFpmA Tasha Cobbs Leonard - No Longer Slaves ->https://youtu.be/OWCS_2uICjU Too Good to Not Believe - Brandon Lake -> https://youtu.be/lKVX_XdaP04

You Are Meant for More - Trailer

Are you willing to step outside your comfort zone and be vulnerable in order to uncover the divine plan God has in store for you? If you had asked me that question two years ago, my reply would have been a hard pass. I was so comfortable making money and ignoring the inner work. In fact, I was convinced that I was a good person who was going to heaven because I tithed, gave to the poor and hadn’t killed anyone (though I’d been tried). Fast forward to 2022 and God began to transform my answer to that question before my very eyes. You see, prior to me rededicating my life to God, I was a rule-following, people-pleasing, worrying, realist who was afraid to hope, and addicted to busyness and ever chasing the elusive perfectionism. And the sad thing is I didn’t know anything was wrong. And if those things weren’t bad enough, under the surface, I was a suicidal, angry, control freak with a victim complex. This was before Jesus set me free. Now, I’m a joyful, free, far from perfect, but a work in progress who can proudly proclaim my deepest darkest secrets on this podcast because my redeemer lives and He came to set the captives free.
