You are the One you seek

About You are the One you seek

This podcast has one goal, and one goal only: to help you awaken to your own love, power, creativity and innate divinity. We are all equally creative, empowered, autonomous, and yet unified beings. We have incarnated as humans (and anything else we desire) to help expand our consciousness and perspectives, namely to explore the state of being "separate" from our true selves. We never are truly separate, but the veil of forgetfulness, which we pass through when incarnating onto Earth, allows us to explore various experiences rooted in the notion and feeling that we are cut off from "God" or the "Universe." The truth is, we are already all of those things. My own turn from 37 years of Christianity, to Agnosticism, to Atheism, and then to the path I am on currently, has really shaped the theme and tone of this podcast. I explore a lot of the painful memories and experiences in my former faith, and share the healing journey I have been on, to reclaim the part of me that always felt connected to a love that transcends human understanding. Near Death Experiences and Channelings were the gateway out of Atheism for me, but I do not harbor any resentment towards that position, as I believe it was fundamentally important for me to experience that for awhile. In this podcast, I speak with people who have had NDE and other spiritual experiences, as well as read from works such as "The Jeshua Channelings" and other profound texts. Truly, our only role here is to awaken to our own light, love, power and creativity. We cannot do this without learning to love and forgive ourselves first and foremost. It's the old concept of putting the oxygen mask on yourself first, so that you are then free to help others without being compromised. We are here to save ourselves, period. I realize this, but still feel a pull to share this message, as I believe it is SOOOOOOO empowering for those ready to hear it. If you are in a place where this doesn't resonate with you, that is ok too! Everyone is on their own path, at their own timing. I have a sneaking suspicion though, that we all find our way home in the end. with all the love that we all are, David ODonnell

   Final Episode, June 5, 2026

I did this before about a year ago, then deleted it, and found a little more room to share. Now, during a time of great personal struggle and tumult, I have decided it would be better to end the podcast now, rather than make the diary of a man losing his excitement for life, and the excitement for the things he previously promoted with great joy in his heart. I am consistent only at inconsistency, but the closer I come every day to being consistently honest with myself, my feelings, and my perception, than I can at least feel some solace in knowing I have been authentic throughout. I wish I could leave you all on happier and brighter notes, but this is just an honest snapshot of where I am at. If you are moved to help in anyway, or just want to share your thoughts or reflections on the podcast, you are more than welcome to reach out to me here: youhavethekeys639@gmail.com I appreciate any of you who have spoken an encouraging word, or shared your honest feedback, critical or positive. I am grateful to have shared any space with you, and I hope that your journey finds you a little brighter than mine does now. Be well all!

   EP44: A journey with Cannabis! (happy 4/20)

I wanted to share, finally, my honest feelings about my history with Cannabis use. I want to offer some information, caution, and also destigmatizing of what this plant offers. From my first time trying it in high school to my dream job working from home for a Cannabis company for 3 years. I also ramble about a few other things loosely tied to Cannabis, as is my heathen custom. Enjoy! email: youhavethekeys639@gmail.com IG: @youaretheoneyouseek

EP43: What we know is a drop, what we don't, an Ocean

In a continued theme, I am exploring ideas around shedding the old, and leaning into the new, while simultaneously understanding how little we presently understand about the reality that surrounds us. I also reflect on 14 years since my brother, my only sibling, passed away after a long battle with paralysis related issues from a terrible car accident in 2005. He sadly predicted many of the horrors and terrors that are unfolding around the world, and especially at home, and I almost feel like he definitely chose to exit before all of that for a reason! Of course I can't be sure his soul chose that, or that any of us chose any of this. I have faith, but faith has led me down darkened alleys of despair in the past, so I am extremely hesitant to lean into any 'faith' ideas. However, there has actually been evidence to support aspects of this faith, whereas my religious beliefs truly provided none. In keeping with the idea of not knowing, I wanted to celebrate us all for doing what we are able to do, with such DEEPLY limited knowledge and understanding. We truly only hold a tiny drop of knowing or understanding in our eager little hands, while we toss and swirl about in a seemingly endless ocean of options, knowledge, insight, experiences etc. The prospect of that option can be exciting, or utterly crushing and defeating. Here's hoping the former is true! Be well everyone, and thanks for listening! youhavethekeys639@gmail.com
