<p>When Showgirl came out it kind of wrecked me, not gonna lie. And then a bunch of personal stuff happened and I just needed to step away for a little bit. I'm back now and I'm ready to talk about it. The songs I love, the songs that make me cringe, the songs I wish existed in a prettier album, and why I think the less you listen to the lyrics the more fun you have. I'm still a Swifty, I still have the tattoo, Taylor is still my number one on Spotify. I just also have opinions. So let's get into it and see how my opinions have changed since october. <3 </p>

<p>It's a dark day, to be honest. I’ve been a Swiftie since 2011, and The Life of a Showgirl left me disappointed. In this episode, I go track by track through the album with my raw first-weekend reactions..... what I’ll have on repeat, what I’ll never play again, and what honestly has me worried about her songwriting. I share the theater premiere context and the perspective of a long-time fan who still believes in nuance over blind hype..... bc this was nottttt good. </p>
