Step 1: Confess
Denial is easy to spot—when it’s someone else. Whether it’s a DIY disaster, delusional budgeting, or garage band dreams of stardom, we laugh because we’ve all been there. But when it comes to our own struggles—addiction, compulsive behaviors, or spiraling unmanageability—denial is no joke. In this powerful episode, we unpack Step 1 of the recovery process: “We admit we are powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives have become unmanageable.” Through humor, Scripture, and personal testimony, we explore what it means to confess, confront reality, and begin the journey toward freedom. You’ll learn practical steps for recognizing denial, surrendering control, and inviting God into your healing. If you're ready to stop pretending and start healing, this episode is for you.
