<p>Hey guys, welcome back to YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP!</p> <p>Todays episode is another relationship special of the podcast! But this one is a little different, as it focuses on dating and finding love during a global pandemic ( lol that sounded so dramatic writing that but it is literally the reality...ok moving on lol) </p> <p>Who better to do that with than with two people who found love during covid, my brother and his new girlfriend, Emer!</p> <p>This is the longest episode of YCMTSU but it focuses on Michael and Emer's story of how covid actually brought them together, without it they probably would never have met..</p> <p>The episode starts off on their advice on using tinder to your advantage and how to approach someone.</p> <p>Then we get into a discussion about who should pay on a date, the wage gap and our thoughts on male and female body counts.</p> <p>I ask both of them if they believe in the concept of soulmates and having a gut feeling about a person.</p> <p>They then chat us through how they made it work during covid, from drunken times on PUB.ie to 10 hour zoom calls...Did it help them develop a closer connection?</p> <p>They take us through their first time meeting in real life after lockdown restrictions were lifted, which involved a lot of nerves and a near death experience??! They also share their advice on meeting somebody from tinder for the first time during covid.</p> <p>We then cover other topics like defining the relationship online, defining it IRL, importance of meeting each others friends, and how this relationship compares to their past dating experiences.</p> <p>Finally, they share their advice to people looking to get into a relationship during these covid times.</p> <p>It then ends with a little quick fire round on whos who in the relationship..</p> <p>Its a super long episode but I really think its a good one for anyone out their struggling with dating atm.</p> <p>Thanks for listening guys, sending everyone good energy xx</p>
