EXTRA LAUGHS: A Look Back At THE OFFICE (No... not that one)
Welcome back to YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING: A BRITISH SITCOM PODCAST
In our latest end of the month Extra Laughs bonus episode host Robert Turnbull and Alex Lynch celebrate its anniversery by talking a fond look back at The Office... but not The Office The Office, we're looking slightly firther back at The Office the 1996 ITV sitcom pilot from Stephen Moffat.
Staring, among others, Robert Lindsay and Rebecca Front, this single episode predates The Office The Office by several years and features a variety of office based shenanigans from running around naked to impersonating twins and we try and figure out if it deserved a full series...

The Day Today (1994)
Welcome back to YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING: A BRITISH SITCOM PODCAST!
In this episode of You Have Been Watching, hosts A. J. Black and Robert Turnbull join forces to examine of the more legendary political satires of the 90s, 1994's The Day Today.
Arguably 'sitcom adjacent' in style, this mock current affairs news programme helped launch the ships of a thousand careers, from Chris Morris to Steve Coogan to Rebecca Front and more, not to mention providing the first on-screen appearance of Alan Partridge. Has it, however, remained funny across many different ages of news?
