I am so excited to introduce you all to Cristina Gonzalez a woman who has met many of life's challenges and seen them as an opportunity.
Like many of us we face difficulties, challenges and often times situations we are not sure how we are going to make it through. However one thing we all have is an opportunity to make a choice. Cristina took all of the situations and turned them into opportunity.
It was such an honor to share her story with you all

Honoring Your Words
How do we honor our words especially when it comes to saying yes and no.
For some of us just saying the word NO does not feel comfortable, we give our power away when we do not honor our words. So what would it feel like if you really honor your yes and no.
When you say NO you choose you
When you say YES you choose you
Really feel it and recognize when the answer is YES you feel it because in this space it truly is what you mean. Also recognize when you say YES and it does not feel right, causes resentment, or just is not what you want to do. Next time you want to say NO just do that say NO and leave it at that. No justification, no judgement and no putting others first when you should put yourself first.
Until next time

2023 Intentions
Yes here we are one week into 2023 and already it is an amazing start to an amazing year.
So many of us walk into a new year relieved to see the previous year end because it was a year we just want to forget happened. It could be that you have been waiting to start a health journey, or dating again...whatever it was for you. See we tend to think that the new year is a magic reset button. Does it have to be?
This year I am making a choice that I do not need a new year to give me permission to celebrate. Nope not this year because the only permission I need is mine not the calendars. Join me in this episode as we talk about intentions and how taking actions on a daily basis gets you closer to making that intention a reality for you.
Also it would be supper amazing if you could help me make a choice about setting up a Facebook group that is for you the listener. A group where we maybe go deeper into some of the podcast content, talk about the books that are mentioned in the podcast and building a community that supports one another through this year of intention. So let me know by answering the poll below. If you are listening through Apple Podcast then shoot me an email and let me know if this would be something you are interested in (carolyn@resilientwingsmentoring.com)

Putting Your Resilient Self First
When was the last time you put a day aside just to do something nice for yourself?
For me it has been a long while since I really truly took the time for me, not because my wife said I should, not because my mentor said I should, but because I really felt the need to care for me. What happened is one day turned into two days and two days turned into three. Each day this week I have done something to really treat myself. Now every time I see those items I purchased, smell the product I bought I am reminded of how important I am in my own life.
Join me today for a short conversation that could have a large impact on how you take care of you each day!

Empowering Ourselves Through Our Choices
We all say it, what if...
Join me today were we stop talking about what if and start talking about making choices that empower us. I will share with you how I allowed others to have the power of choice so they always got just what they wanted. Until one day I realized that I was depleted and had nothing left to give. Taking back our choices can feel tough, but we all know we have the power to do hard things.
Choice is power
Choice is knowing what you want need and desire
Choice is taking action toward your goals
We all have the power to choose...what do you choose, let me know carolyn@resilientwingsmentoring.com
Let's talk about empowering your choices resilientwingsmentoring.com

What is hiding under self judgement
I have been an expert at self judgement for all of my life...how about you are you good at judging yourself and doing it so well that no one could judge you more harshly than yourself?
Let's really look at judgement and see what is below the surface. Personally what I found was feelings of unworthiness and a deep rooted fear.
