Thirteenth Floor Upgrade
<p>Braydon and Belinda are back at it for the second time this year, chatting about two spooky hauntings!</p><br><p>Belinda starts the podcast out by chatting about the Hotel Monteleone, a haunted hotel in New Orleans in the United States. Apparently there are a number of ghosts who frequent the hotel, but the most infamous floor is the 14th (actually 13th) floor! There is the spirit of a young boy who is said to have died in the hotel, who is mentioned to frequent the floor and play with his other ghost friends!</p><br><p>Braydon goes on to chat about the Franklin Expedition in the Arctic in the 1800s, and their now wrecked vessels that remain frozen in the ice. The Canadian Arctic Inuit people believe the HMS Terror to be haunted by nonhuman spirits, and the ship to have a terrible curse over it. Not only have the Inuit people experienced terrible accidents after explorers started investigating the wreckage, but a painting of the vessel is said to hold this exact curse and to be carrying the misfortune all the way to London!</p> <hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast. Six Six Sixty Nine!
<p>Happy New Year from You, Me, and a Poltergeist! We hope everyone had a very safe holiday season!</p><br><p>Braydon starts the episode by discussing the cursed head of rebel samurai, Taira no Masakado. The samurai lived in the 10th century and after defeating many of the enemies who rose against him, he was believed to be both immortal and a demi-god. The samurai's luck ran out when the emperor of Japan sent an army against his and had him killed and decapitated, but his head was said to be magical in nature. The location it is buried is said to be cursed by Masakado's revenge, and many odd occurrences have happened around the shrine.</p><br><p>Belinda goes on to discuss the South Shields poltergeist, and its reported "Toy Fetish". The rude poltergeist was renowned for tossing small objects, intimidating and berating the home owners with expletives, and leaving menacing stuffed animals out to scare the household. Things really started to kick off when the home owners brought in paranormal investigators!</p> <hr><p style='color:grey; font-size:0.75em;'> Hosted on Acast. The ABCs
<p>Braydon and Belinda are back for the final episode of 2020! Belinda starts the episode off by discussing the Mistletoe Bride of Bramshill House, who died after a misfortunate game of hide and seek on her wedding day lead her to become lost forever. After her body was eventually discovered half a century later, the object she was hid within was passed on to new owners and is reportedly haunted by the ghost of the dead bride.</p><br><p>Braydon goes on to chat about the ABCs (aka Alien Big Cats) of the UK! In a rather odd circumstance, there appears to be a growing population of big cats in the UK, and recent studies show that sightings are very common.
