Here we go, this is the real deal, this is NOT A TEST! We're at Threat Level Midnight!
This episode is the last time you'll hear from us as a family of 3! We did this record quickly before it was time to head to the hospital, and there's a little bonus content too so listen all the way until the end.
Of course we're very excited to share with you how everything goes and what's next for our family of 4, so stay with us as we continue this journey!

YMS203 - Stressful Non-Stress Test
Finally! A new episode release! This episode was recorded shortly before our second child was born, and we've been sitting on the record for almost 4 months now while we've been otherwise occupied with life.
Moms, if you've gone for a "non-stress" test, you'll know how routine it's supposed to be. Well, this was definitely anything but routine!
Listen along with us as we march ever closer to delivery day for our son Ryan. We'll have more regular episode releases now as we have an editor to help cut the workload down for us. Realistically, there's a lot that goes into putting out an episode, and every minute we work on the show is time away from the kids, so having our Sequoidea Productions, LLC, editor Cody is really a life changer for us! Thanks Cody!
If you haven't listened to any of the other shows by Sequoidea Productions, LLC, I really recommend you check them out. There are more shows in the works so keep checking back, and there's also some separate YouTube content no related to any of our shows that you'll also want to check out. www.sequoidea.com
Please send us a message on Instagram if you have feedback, questions, or just want to connect. We'd love to hear from you!

We talk about some of our anxieties, some of the things we're looking forward to, and whatever comes up in between.
Thank you for following us on this journey. If you have any questions or feedback please send us a message on Instagram @ymspod. We can't wait to talk to you next time and continue to share this journey with you.
Please leave a review to let us know how we're doing.

YMS201 - Big News!
We're back! I know we were gone for a long time but we are absolutely back. Who knew raising a tiny human takes so much of your time and energy?!
Hitting record on this episode we thought it would be a quick 20 minutes to make an announcement and dust off the cobwebs. Instead it turned into basically a full episode once we started rolling!
We promise we'll do our best to keep to our every other week release schedule going forward, and we really appreciate you coming along with us on this journey.

YMS006 - Just You Wait & See!
This episode Stephanie and Travis discuss another poem by Jessica Urlichs out of her book "All I See Is You: Poems and Proses on Motherhood". The poem is titled Just You Wait and See, and you can find it on Jessica's Facebook page here if you haven't yet bought the book. And while we're talking about it, if you haven't bought the book it's time you went out and bought the book!
We also talk about a recent trip to Oregon and one of Squee's firsts. It was a lot of fun and we almost had a catastrophe! We're happy to be able to share it all with you.
Definitely a lighter episode that the last two and we hope you enjoy this part of the journey with us.

YMS005 - Dog-Bite Follow-up
First, we apologize that this release is late. We were without internet access since last Thursday and really had planned on getting this released on time. Thank you for your patience and we hope this episode was worth the wait!
Second, we had originally intended to do some very, very major cutting on this episode and Episode 4, and cram them together into 1 episode. However, after listening again a couple weeks ago and after both had been recorded, we decided that we just couldn't cut out enough without really gutting the content. That's why this is being released as two episodes. Please bear with us as some of what we say was recorded with the intent of this being a single episode.
Third, thank you so much for listening (and reading this far if you're still here!), and we would love to hear from you. Please send emails to: contact@ymspod.com, steph@ymspod.com; and travis@ymspod.com; we will read every email and try get back to you promptly. If you don't want your email or your name read on the show, please say so in your email and we will respect your privacy.
Finally, we promise that you won't hear about the dog bit anymore for a while unless something new happens. We have a couple of fun things to talk about and we can't wait to share them with you. Remember to check out the other shows from Sequoidea Productions, LLC by going to www.sequoidea.com

YMS004 - The Thanksgiving Incident
This episode was recorded about 3 months ago, and we've been trying to decide whether or not to even release it. We started out with almost 2 hours of content, then cut and cut, came back to it and cut some more, and we're finally just going to stop thinking about it and put it out for you. We've taken a lot of time since, and our next episode will kind of be a follow up on this. Anyway, before you die of suspense, give it a listen and let us know what you think.
Please reach out to us to steph@ymspod.com and travis@ymspod.com; we would love to hear from you, whether you agree, disagree, or just think we're crazy. Check out other shows by Sequoidea Productions, LLC at www.sequoidea.com.

YMS002 - The Babysitter Hunt
In this episode Stephanie and Travis talk about the process of finding a babysitter, while looking for the qualifications of a nanny. We talk about 3 very different candidates and our thoughts on thee process in general, and what we're looking for in someone who is going to essentially be a part time partner in Squee's growth. We also talk about our first "date night" without Squee since she was born.
Let us know your thoughts, and what you experienced finding a babysitter, your first time away from your baby, or what you're anticipating if you haven't gotten there yet. We're still figuring things out, including how this show is going to feel going forward, so we appreciate you coming with us as we learn not only how to be parents but how to be podcasters too. We welcome your feedback on how we can improve and what you'd like to hear from us.

YMS001 - Pilot Episode
Stephanie and Travis talk to each other, and any listeners, about where we hope this show will go and how we feel starting the journey. Our baby, Drew "Squee" Frances, is the reason we're here, and hopefully you'll be able to relate to some of the things we talk about either with your own little one, or if you're expecting and wanting to get the inside information about how it really is when family goes home and you're alone trying to figure it out.
We are trying to get a feel for this, and we promise it gets smoother! This is our very first episode and kind of a "getting to know us" episode, and we hope you'll join us as we work through who we are as parents, and delve into what we've been through, what we've learned, and how we're growing along the way.
