81. Young Real Estate Agents Plan For Growth
<p>Weston Kirk began his real estate career while attending Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas working in the leasing office at Capstone Cottages of San Marcos. The Cottages got got his foot in the door learning about sales and leases. He quickly realized he could make a lot more money in the same amount of time by getting licensed in real estate and getting a real commission check. Weston quit his job and supporting himself by selling all of his belongings on Craigslist to pursue a full time career in real estate. He took time while starting his new career to hit the books and become the best entry level agent by learning marketing, sales and people. After two months of being a licensed agent, struggling to pay rent and eating a lot of Ramen Noodles, Weston sold his first home selling at $375,000 and got a fat check for a college student. Since then, Weston's knowledge in sales has expanded ten fold by working in car sales, insurance and real estate. He has since helped several established businesses generate CHEAP and EFFECTIVE leads through various social media platforms. Though he dabbles in multiple areas generating sales, his heart resides in real estate where he is currently a full time agent seeking to help other agents by sharing what he knows.
