Just Chattin'
Remember us? It's been a minute or two..
We've had a bit going on of late with you know… life and all that. It's about time we caught up for a bit of a chin wag. In episode 11 you may not find a whole heap of useful info but if you are on for some slightly lubricated banter then look no further! This is the episode for you!!!
We had a few beers, we had a laugh, we answered a few listener questions and most importantly we had a damn good time recording this one.

Will they succeed? Will they fail? Will they decide to drop everything and crash some parties with Jackie Chan?
You know what I mean?

Go broke with Nick & Dan
One of the reasons we started this podcast was to cut through to some of the reality of trying to turn ‘Your Art Thing’ into something more. A big part of that is Money, so in this episode we lay out how we handle the money side of our businesses. We aren’t experts, we just wanted to share how we do things and maybe that will help break down some uncertainty facing other artists. We’re both big believers that money shouldn’t be this dirty secret that we never talk about. Nick dives into what he hates about the merch side of the biz, we talk about getting ready for tax time and stick around until the end to hear Dan’s wild origin story about taking a big financial risk when everything else in his life was falling apart.

Like sands through the hourglass, this was 2021

F is for Foundations
We get into the foundations which we think are useful to have in place when first starting out on the path of turning your art hobby into something more. There might even be some helpful info in this one for those already established artists. We give a heap of shitty advice, dumb opinions and do our best to answer your questions. Damn, you’ll even here about Dan’s big job interview fail and the best advice Nick was ever given. It’s a long one too, so plug your headphones in, turn on your out-of-office autoreply and get listenin’
