The loss of our friendship was so deep for me. because she was the closest friendship i'd had in my married adult life and a lot of things happened in the years right before i met her that deprived me of a support system and so meeting her and becoming such close friends right away and the way that we integrated each other into each other's lives She was a pretty big part of my support system. And so even when cracks started to show and there were ways that she treated me and ways she reacted and things she said and did that bothered me and hurt me prior to when our friendship actually ended, I was quick to dismiss it and sweep it under the rug and say it's not that big of a deal because calling attention to it would jeopardize this relationship.
