A relentless supporter for person-centered care, she is a credentialed person-centered thinking trainer with The Learning Community for Person Centered Practices and an ambassador for Charting the LifeCourse. SHORT: Mental Health Awareness
In this episode Host Mairead Painter talks honestly about mental wellness, especially for those in long term care communities. She unpacks how individuals with mental health issues can address their situations, how and where to receive support, and how to decrease the stigmas attached to mental health. Mairead also talks about individuals in long term care who were at the epicenter of the pandemic and the effects of their trauma. SHORT: The State of Staffing in Long Term Care Communities
