ANJL wears her heart on her sleeve, and lives life like there's no tomorrow. The Las Vegas born-and-bred R&B singer has been in love with music her entire life. Now, at 21, she's writing and producing her own music, and giving listeners an intimate look at who she is at heart.. She's able to capture whatever emotions she's feeling, and put them to music so perfectly, to listen to her songs is to know her personally.
2020 has been busy for ANJL. She's dropped 3 singles so far, "I've Been," "Quarantine Queen," and "Get It On," which features Malli. Like all great R&B, her music can sound like love songs written with a broken heart, and it can also sound like a strong, independent woman who can't be told what to do. Both of these sounds represent her perfectly, and the songs are so good, you'll be singing them over and over in your head day and night.

YCV Podcast Episode 5: Drauve
For Drauve, it's deeper than the music. Creating something from nothing is how they ease their minds and figure out this thing called life. Victoria and Steve hail from Pittsburgh, PA but moved cross country to Los Angeles earlier this month. Now, living among the sunshine, they're making their most stunning music yet. Their latest single, "TRY" sounds both old and new, with melodic and swooning synthesizers and Victoria's beautiful harmonies finding a perfect home on top of pulsating drums and delicate keyboards. With more surprises up their sleeves, and more music to be released soon, the world is about to groove just a little bit harder.

YCV Interview with My Favorite Color & Jeremy Rosinger
Your Culture Vulture sits down with My Favorite Color, LA-based rapper who recently signed to Rostrum Records and dropped his first single "Funeral". His music is purely representative of who he is and how he's feeling in that moment. "It could sound like 'I could fuck your bitch' one minute, and 'Funeral' the next."
Jeremy Rosinger is a producer who has been working with My Favorite Color for over half a decade. They currently live about 60 seconds from one another. Jeremy and My Favorite Color are both using their time locked inside during a pandemic to think about the music, the world at large, and who they are inside through it all.
