<p>Ketan Raturi&#39;s healthcare&#39;s so broken he took a nap...nodding away for literal years of his life while navigating the diagnosis of a rare disease and academic and workplace accommodation. </p> <p>Ketan is a proud husband; father to a nine-month-old son, two dogs, and a cat; and foster dog dad to many dogs. Ketan and his wife volunteer for <a href="https://adoptastray.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stray Animal Adoption Program (SAAP)</a> in the Greater Cincinnati Ohio-Northern Kentucky area. He is currently employed as a principal privacy solutions architect.</p> <p>He earned his BS in Decision Science at Carnegie Mellon and his MS in Information Systems at the University of Cincinnati. Ketan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional. He has over a decade of healthcare information systems experience in health insurance and digital surgery. He has also worked at major social media and apparel companies in privacy architecture.</p> <p>Since Ketan personally experienced lifelong disability and late diagnosis, he is passionate about advocating for disability accommodations for himself and encouraging others to do the same. He has advocated as a leader for many years in employee disability resource groups and is passionate about the intersection of accessibility, privacy, and data protection.</p>

<p>Dr. Erica Butler, Ph.D. shares how the healthcare system is so broken, it almost cost her an arm after undergoing routine orthopedic surgery.</p> <p>Dr. Butler is a data and analytics professional who stumbled into the field by earning her doctoral degree in Epidemiology, which, in part, focuses on how to collect and analyze data in real-world settings. She has worked in various industries and enjoys helping organizations develop strategies to use their data, systems, and processes most effectively.</p> <p>Dr. Butler is originally from East Texas and relocated to Columbus, Ohio, 16 years ago to pursue a graduate degree in Public Health. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family - including her min pin, Franklin - traveling the world, reading, and being outside as much as possible!  </p> <p><br></p>
