I feel like similar to a lot of other animals that are very, very social, like monkeys and other maybe African animals, they do thrive best when they're in colonies. And yeah, they they get very anxious if they don't have that because they live in groups that all have, you know, that have all these roles. One of them will sit and sit on lookout duty, essentially. Others would like care for their young together and they all communicate together. So when they don't have other hyraxes around them, sometimes they just get really bitey. […]
