This is a weekly-ish podcast where I share voice notes on running a business that honours your humanness.
A little more about me: I’m Jen, a gentle business coach living in Manchester, UK.
I’m also a mother, a human who lives with chronic illness, and the breadwinner for my family - three things that fundamentaly shape my experience of running my business in both beautiful and challenging ways.
I’ve been supporting online business owners to bridge the gap towards more flexibility, ease, and steadiness since 2015 and, more than anything, I am deeply devoted to supporting you to gently thrive in your business at a pace that works best for you.

If you ever find yourself feeling frustrated and disheartened by your launches and sales cycles not always reaching your goals, I recorded today’s episode for you.
Because the messy middle truth is that we can never guarantee how a launch will go, even when we do all of the ‘right’ things.
And so much of our sense of stability in our business has to be rooted in our own resilience and trust that we can figure it out, instead of looking for guarantees that are out of our control.
So in today’s episode I share the mindset and approach that has supported me to sustain a self-employed life for 12 years now when offers are selling with ease and also when sales are a little slower too.

Reflecting on a year without posting on IG 🤳🏻
This time last year I decided to archive my Instagram feed, pop up a nine grid, and stop sharing on that platform and a year later I continue to be so glad that I made that choice.
In today’s episode I reflect on this decision, share some thoughts and feelings on the freedom that comes with not living my life through the lens of how I can share it online, and how and why my business has continued to gently thrive without social media being a piece of my marketing plan.
This episode isn’t here to try and convince you to quit IG if it’s a platform you love, it’s just here to encourage you to know that you get to decide which platforms you use to grow and promote your business and can always walk away from something that isn’t working best for you.

How I’m resetting after a summer that almost broke me 🌼
After taking seven weeks off for the summer I am gently easing back into work this week and today I’m catching you up on my time off, sharing some of the beautiful parts of my summer and also the really hard parts where my health just kicked my ass over and over again.
I also share how I’m supporting myself to ease back into work this week, the routines and habits that I’m rooting into right now, and my priorities for this season of my business too.
Whether you’re fired up and ready to go for autumn or feeling very slow like I am too, I hope this episode can encourage you to root into whatever you need to feel resourced and nourished in your business for this new season.
